Story
He's an American legend, a straight-shooting businessman who brought Chrysler back from the brink and in the process became a media celebrity, newsmaker, and a man many had urged to run for president. The son of Italian immigrants, Lee Iacocca rose spectacularly through the ranks of Ford Motor Company to become its president, only to be toppled eight years later in a power play that should have shattered him.

Really good listen. Not sure why people aren't giving it five stars since its contents are informative; insightful, and concise! It whets your appetite to do his full biography, I mean you've only invested about an hour of your time. Come people, let's be reasonable...

It's a mishmash!

It's a mishmash!
Reviewed: 05-03-16
I'm a lover of Napoleon Hill but this is someone's mishmash version of all his great works... It was a decent effort, but I would advise to go straight to the source in its context not somebody piecing things together and presenting it to you. I'm not saying this is bad or not to get it, I've got about 10 of Audibles books on Mr. Hill and this is fine as an addition to my collection, however when replaying them it will be at the end of my choices. Hope this helps, it low priced at least.

Story
Who understood the risk inherent in the assumption of ever-rising real-estate prices, a risk compounded daily by the creation of those arcane, artificial securities loosely based on piles of doubtful mortgages? Michael Lewis turns the inquiry on its head to create a fresh, character-driven narrative brimming with indignation and dark humor, a fitting sequel to his number-one best-selling Liar’s Poker.

Behind the scenes of the Financial Collapse!
Reviewed: 04-24-12
Would you listen to The Big Short again? Why?
Yes, due to complex terminology and how insightful it is. It's very detail oriented and a person always reviews that which enjoys.
Who was your favorite character and why?
Mr. Lewis himself was the most revealing character, saying, Wall Street had no right to hire new college grads so they could toy and gamble with other people's money.
Have you listened to any of Jesse Boggs’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
No, first exposure. He acquitted himself well.
If you could give The Big Short a new subtitle, what would it be?
Behind the Scenes of Wall Street.
Any additional comments?
In-depth research is very evident throughout the book, good job!!
