As with all the books in the series, this one was excellent. I don’t want to give anything away in the story. You’ll just have to read or listen to it to find out.

I really enjoyed the story. The author brings in his military experience and it shows. It was a typical topic that you would expect from this type of novel, but new, unexpected enemy.
I have as of yet found a book that is narrated well by the author. My suggestion, use an AI narrator at least. Don’t read your own novel.

The book itself was excellent. The narrator was horrendous! You could tell he knew nothing of Christianity because he mispronounced many things. To him, it was just another job. An AI narrator could have performed as well and most likely for less costs.

Excellent book! Being a goat owner I can relate. Also, by owning goats I understand why there will be a separation of the sheep from the goats in the end times.
Anyway everyone should listen to this book!!

Predictable
Reviewed: 07-27-24
The story was OK. It was somewhat predictable and even though it didn’t say it was a romance novel it bordered on it. I’m not a big romance fan. I don’t care that people’s eyes are smoldering….blah, blah, blah. Just give me a good story with no language, which this had pretty much none which was a good point. I will not be listening to the rest of the series just because it’s not my type of book.

Not bad

The narrator was great. The storyline was interesting. I was surprised by the swearing since this is supposed to be a Christian novel. Considering it involved people who were former Navy SEALs, the language was quite tame. It deals with the subject of spiritual warfare, but not exactly in the vein of Frank Peretti. Overall, it was a good book.

Story
It happens more than you might think. One second someone’s life is totally typical, the next it’s terribly tragic. Everything they had, everything they planned, everything they were, all of it vanishes in a flash. Shock and sorrow leave the victim staring into tomorrow’s void, wondering: How did it happen? Who did it? And why?

Passed the test…barely
Reviewed: 07-06-24
I know the story says that it’s based on a true story, but a lot of what went on in there even happened in true life you would definitely be blessed because it’s beyond luck.
But it was a good story overall, the narrator was excellent and really made story. I do have to say for those who watch for language, it almost did not pass the test. It had 2F bombs in it. I turned them off when I hear three.
The thing I can’t figure out with language in books these days, it was completely unnecessary to make this a good story and actually took away from it.

I’ve gotten almost 2 hours into the book and was really enjoying the story and then we have to drop the F bomb. It wasn’t needed. The story was good without it. So unfortunately, I won’t be able to finish the story and I won’t listen to the rest of the series either.
