There were times when it absolutely made sense that all of these events could be happening at once. Love the writing and complex characters. Wish there was more to the series.. I wanna know what happens next and if the detective ever figured out the song stuck in his head.

Well worth the credit

This felt like a whole tv series but better.. the story line was frustratingly good … frustratingly when characters you root for die and when you fear evil might win out - which is a hallmark of a good story when you worry about characters you’ve come to love. As an African American woman, I loved that some of my folk were included.

The accident came quickly. With no warning. In the dead of night, a precipitous plunge into a freezing river trapped everyone inside the bus. It was then that Army veteran John Reiff’s life came to an end. Extinguished in the sudden rush of frigid water. There was no expectation of survival. None. Let alone waking up beneath blinding hospital lights. Struggling to move, or see, or even breathe. But the doctors assure him that everything is normal. That things will improve. What they haven’t told him… is that he is the first person to be successfully revived from a cryonic sleep.

The story bounced from one perspective to another pretty rapidly which was a bit confusing at first . Though after a while it was refreshing to see things from different angles. RC Bray’s narration is what really brings it alive. And just like another reviewer commented- it would be nice to know why the author is choosing to use the word inclinations the way he does
