virtual voice is awful
Reviewed: 06-10-25
Virtual voice has emphasis at inappropriate times, the wrong inflection for the story line. flat monotone when some excitement should be intoned, raised tone when not needed, all words pronounced the same (hooked on phonics?) over it socks, I'll avoid these in the future.

Story
Faced with the end of his quiet, settled life, reluctant spy Milo Weaver has no choice but to turn back to his old job as a “tourist”. Before he can get back to the CIA’s dirty work, he has to prove his loyalty to his new bosses, who know little of Milo’s background and less about who is really pulling the strings in the government above the Department of Tourism - or in the outside world, which is beginning to believe the legend of its existence.

A rambling, recycled disappointment.

A long winded, disjointed, not always true to itself extention of the series. Becoming predictable in its ability to stretch the reality, and omit facts put forth to fit the story. I won't give away how or when, but when it happens it diminishes the ability to believe in the story.

A lot of "filler talk" that may or may not contribute to the story. seems like it's forced writing, when it should flow like books 1-2.
