I had the opportunity to see Sawyer Brown at the Ryman for their 6000th show. By far the greatest show I've ever seen and after listening to this I want to see them again.
This book gives me a new found respect for Mark and the Boys.

Story
It has been 20 years since the end of the war. The dictatorial Augurs, once thought of almost as gods, were overthrown and wiped out during the conflict, their much-feared powers mysteriously failing them. Those who had ruled under them, men and women with a lesser ability known as the Gift, avoided the Augurs' fate only by submitting themselves to the rebellion's Four Tenets.

I'm barely at chapter 3 and have no idea what I'm listening to. It's almost like starting the Bible at Psalms 118 verse 15. It would have been nice for an overview in a Forward.
I may continue the book later, but for now I have a headache from being lost.

The hardest part of listening was names that don't match all the other books. For example when listening to Michael and Kate I don't hear Gail don but rather Geel Don.

Story
Pioneers of Britain's nascent rock and metal scene back in the late 1970s, Iron Maiden smashed its way to the top, thanks in no small part to the high-octane performances, operatic singing style, and stage presence of its second but twice-longest-serving lead singer, Bruce Dickinson. As Iron Maiden's front man - first from 1981 to 1993 and then from 1999 to the present - Dickinson has been, and remains, a man of legend.
