About three things I was certain. First, Edward was a vampire. Second, there was a part of him, and I didn't know how dominant that part might be, that thirsted for my blood. And third, I was unconditionally and irrevocably in love with him.

I read this not to long ago. I thought it was good, but i don't really like vampires much. I like werewolves though. I kinda thought that Bella was extremely predictable and stupid, but thats what makes it so good :D
i'd recommend you don't read this book at night if you are younger, just because you might get nightmares ;)
this is NOT a book for GUYS! guys will think its boring. which it kind of is... for guys that is..

AMAZING BOOK

This is by far my favorite book ever written. The way that it is written is sick amazing. I've read this book at least three times, but I was planning on buying the audio book. Clement-Davies is an amazing author, and I wish that they had his second book, Fell. But The sight is a heart gripping book. If you are fainthearted, this wouldn't be the best book ever. I think i might've cried in it. Sadly, i dislike the magic part of it. i didn't like that too much. THE ANIMALS TALK BTW
If you love wolves, adventure, if you can stand death, if you can stand a lot of characters (i had to write them all down, lol), if you LOVE suspense, THIS IS THE BEST BOOK YOU WILL EVER READ!!!!

Story
Island of the Blue Dolphins is the remarkable story of a strange and beautiful Indian girl who lives a serene and courageous life as the solitary survivor on an island off the California coast. Left behind when the rest of her tribe fled, she waits, year after year, for a ship to come for her. She fights for her very survival, building a shelter, hunting for food, and making weapons to stave off her enemies, the wild dogs who took her brother.

I've read the book at school, and I bought the audiobook on iTunes after, and I absolutely loved the book. The audiobook, brings the book alive, I absolutley love the person who plays Karana, she did very well :D Super well written, I've still got to say, if you buy it, buy the book or go to the library. I love how O'Dell adds in the Wild dogs. I remember though it saying that they were wolves?? but i guess they were dogs... i think his name was.. Fox Eyes? I don't remember the dogs name. But I cried when he died.
Amazing. Must buy if you like dogs, stories about girls, pirates (kinda), and if you like stranded island kind of stories.
