Great structure for thinking about negotiations
Reviewed: 09-25-20
This book gave me a structured way to think about negotiations. The idea of creating and capturing value stood out to me quite a lot. I really liked the concept of investigative negotiations and the emphasis on being extremely well prepared for every negotiation.
On the downside there were points were the book was a bit of a heavy read requiring focus to get the most out. This wasn’t too often.
Overall, Great read with great method and great stories!

Honest, tough love
Reviewed: 06-23-19
I like the perspective of startup life from the point of view of investors. Most of the points seem to apply to startups with a lot of traction but may also be applicable to early stage ventures. The rules also cover a lot of external stakeholders management which complements the other inward focused books quite well.

Great even for non-IT practitioners
Reviewed: 06-13-18
As a non-IT person, this book gave me insight into some of the challenges faced by my colleagues in IT. The delivery was very engaging and non-intimidating for an outsider. I did however find some of the dialogues in the later chapters to be rather long and not as exciting. Overall, I’d readily recommend this book to just about anyone in any type of business in any role.

Thoroughly enjoyed this volume that brought together a multitude of stories into one harmonious piece. From the story of Ada Lovelace to the more recent innovators - the book leaves you with an appreciation of the significant figures that shaped the digital age. I must say I have a renewed appreciation of the beauty of such things as the transistor and subsequent innovations.

Great read for product newbies
Reviewed: 05-31-18
As a product newbie I found this book very useful. The combination of concepts from product market feet, to agile development concepts formed a solid foundation for future product reads. People who have a lot of experience in product design and product management may find the title boring.
