Story
Ryland Grace is the sole survivor on a desperate, last-chance mission - and if he fails, humanity and the Earth itself will perish. Except that right now, he doesn't know that. He can't even remember his own name, let alone the nature of his assignment or how to complete it. All he knows is that he's been asleep for a very, very long time. And he's just been awakened to find himself millions of miles from home, with nothing but two corpses for company.

This was my 2nd listen by this author... I hooked.. what do I listen to next? So many twists and turns all the way till the end. I like a book that can keep me up a night resetting the 30 minute timer over and over again to find out what's gonna happen next. Great narration!

Story
Lost in time, the town of Black Creek, Kentucky becomes home to temporal layers of people, creatures, and monsters from disparate eras. Journey beyond the time of humanity and witness the rewriting of mankind’s genesis. For Owen McCoy, a typical day on the job as head of security for Synergy, a research company conducting mysterious experiments, is boring at best. And that’s the way he likes it. Patrolling the Appalachian mountainside, where his now deceased father taught him how to hunt, is relaxing and connects him to the past.

If you didn't like this book, then you really didn't like the first book. Not sure why so many bad reviews... attack of the bots? what a great sequel, it's been a while since a book kept me up at night. The last few audiobooks I read were good, but after 15 - 20 minutes I'd get tired and pass out...This one, again kept me up till the wee hours. Fun and stimulating ride all the way through.. prefect part 2.. I think it's possible for a unique 3rd book, if we're lucky. Only regret is I finished it too fast. Now I need to endless scroll and find something else to listen to! Great narration, and good writing. The way the author entangles all the pop references into the diaolog is perfect.
