Listening to this book, narrated by her made me feel so connected to her. I felt her pain and laughed with her during her funny mishaps. She is who she is today because of all the things she has endured and she accepts and handles situations with grace (for herself and others). Fans and haters should read to better understand the amazingly talented & diverse woman she is. Love you Mimi!!

My dad loves James Taylor so I grew up listening to his music and of course continue to today. It was fascinating listening to him tell his story, where some of his songs came from and his relationship with the Beatles! Just wish it were longer JT!

Wow. I just finished it and I wish there were more! The stories were great and captivating. I love the topics covered about persistence and the way the stories tied in with each point. I especially loved the story about Jarrett. Don’t we all know a Jarrett in our lives?
This is one of those books EVERYONE should read. It’s inspiring, motivational and practical. It’s the perfect Father’s Day gift or that cool book your son or daughter would love to read (and every mom WANTS them to read). Only 2 swear words when quoting Jarrett.
David, your perseverance in life and on the mountain is truly remarkable and I love how you tied it into business strategies. My son and his friend listened to it and loved it too.

This book makes me want to write my grandmothers history - and someday my own. It took me a bit to get into it but then I found myself unable to stop. I listened to it and I love the authors performance of her grandmother's voice.

So fun that Chip and Jo read this themselves. What a great, inspiring story! Love how grounded they are.

I loved this book from the love story to the story of survival in both life and the wilderness. Great performance as well, especially loved Ashley's voice with a slight southern drawl.

I really liked this book at first. It caught my attention right away and I was excited for a good read. Then the vulgarity started. Too much of the book focuses on teenage lust... Describing things in detail that are simply not needed and in my opinion totally un-relevant to the story. Yes he's a teenage boy but there are so many great novels about teens without all this junk. Don't start it if you're sensitive to this issue. Usually Card is a safe read but definitely not this time :(

Juliette Stevenson does a wonderful job narrating this story. It's one of my favorites!
