The advice and insight in this book is applicable to a lot more than just extreme mountaineering. Great lessons on mindfulness, determination, and risk taking. It was so interesting to learn facts about Everest and other peaks around the world. I loved the parallel between pushing your body and mind to accomplish amazing feats, and using that persistence in one’s personal and/or professional life. Great read!

This book is full of inspiring stories and people, not just on the mountain. The author who has successfully summited all seven summits offers motivation and a push to anyone who wants to obtain or maintain a positive mindset while setting out to accomplish life’s goals. I loved this book!

Peak Persistence is a book written from the successful mountain climbing author’s unique perspective on the attributes that build success, and in particular, persistence. David Snow does a masterful job weaving his personal and harrowing mountain climbing stories and lessons in with smart and practical keys to help any individual or business succeed.
I learned a lot from this book and it will have a permanent spot in my library. Highly recommended!

Truly enjoyed listening to the audiobook read by the author. It was like having one of your best friend’s telling you all about his mountain adventures and encouraging you to climb your own personal summits in life. After listening, I’m ready to strap on my proverbial crampons and take on the world.

I really got so much more out of it than I was expecting. I learned so much. I found it to be very applicable for anyone who wants to elevate their life to the next level. So many insightful quotes that I've decided to order the book so I can go through and highlight all the very meaningful lines that spoke to me so loudly. Also, the stories related were perfectly paralleled to real life situations.

Fantastic balance between genuine story telling and actionable teaching. Most of us have to live experiences like extreme mountaineering through the lens of someone else. David gives a perspective that few can from a normal guy doing extraordinary things. He then makes the connection for us to powerful concepts that will help us all reach our own peaks. Absolutely worth the read/listen for personal/professional development and enjoyment.

This was a very well written book. I felt a wide range of emotions. It has stories of failure and success. It talks about beautiful mountains and the beauty of personal relationships. It is filled with research into a wide range of topics related to persistence. I will be reading this again and recommend it to anyone. This really is a great book.
