i have a degree in history, and this is one of my favorite stories. I find the theory intriguing, but what is not intriguing is the presentation and story here. he goes back and forth between modern times and Aztec times while balancing texts of various sources throughout the course of 500 years to the point where the listener can't keep track of the train of thought. all you need to know is that the author thinks Montezuma was murdered, didn't surrender, and that the Spanish deliberately lied, along with help from conquered natives. save yourself the time and go to a real re-telling of this story. this is not a retelling by any means, and is just as much speculation and theory as it is history

If you are sick of marketing books that are actually sales funnels into the author's website and mastermind, and constantly remind you to leave a review, don't waste your money. halfway through and haven't learned a single practical thing. maybe a decent book for a complete noob to online sales, but nothing else

read if you are new to digital marketing. if you know what a mobile website is, a social media ad, and how to create content that is informative, very little to see here

I saw the negative comments saying these tactics are deceitful. I think they missed some of the key points Jordan made throughout the book. Anybody in sales needs to read this, like him or not, he's one of the GOATs

more of a mindset roadnap and hard sell than a practical guide

It's not that the author is bad, or doesn't know what he's talking about, but he markets it as the ultimate guide to prospecting, but gives very little practical tips and advice. Most of the book is copy/pasted mindset and law of attraction ideas that are in every other book like this. then, he criticizes the so called "gurus" who promote anything other than cold calling while ironically positioning himself as a guru. You might think you will get real tips here, but it is mainly just a motivational speech on cold calling, and why it still works.

it's almost like the author (who clearly has had some success) just wants to sell you on his method while putting any other proven method under the bus.

As said it himself in the book:

there is no secret to prospecting

your welcome, saved u lots of time

From 48 laws, psychology of sales, 7 figure agency, to this guy (Beyond Agency), you can quickly get lost in the noise.

I have a digital agency, but due to legal constraints, it can't do everything recommended in this book.

However, this book is packed with a ton of small little gems that can quickly fall through the cracks.

For example, the idea of making something once and selling it multiple times. Or the idea of how a digital agency can be like having 100 bosses.

IDK what it was about this guy that kept me engaged, honestly. I kept reading and not feeling like I was learning something too practical.

I'm a USA citizen who has lived in Peru for most of my adult life, and there was a big vacancy and "why" that this book filled.

I won't give it away, but I will tell you, this book is absolutely worth reading. You won't get another book this impactful on success in digital marketing.

Yeah, I wanted to make a boomer joke due to the author's insistence on not blaming others for your problems, but this book is not for the new age. Do you believe in the future of the US dollar, banks, and the stock market? No? me neither. Do you want to start spending money to invest in accounts that you can't even open till you get to age 59? No? me neither. You don't need this copy-paste jargon with a immigrant brand name

I highly enjoyed the first book, and it changed my life. I have the agreements on my fridge and see them everyday. that said, this book was more of a summary of the previous book than a full elaboration of the fifth agreement. would recommend listening to this a week to month after reading the first, for this reason
