Patrick Stewart reads this like I imagine Dickens did in his public readings. This is the story that launched Christmas as we know it and has inspired countless retellings. Always a pleasure.

The writing and research were fantastic on their own, but Stephen Fry's narration made it a thoroughly enjoyable experience.

Great characters and world. A fun fast-paced story. I can't wait to continue on with the series.

Amazing. Well researched and presented. As a history buff and an transman I can't say how much I appreciated every word of this book.

Interestingly convoluted story that is part detective, part sci fi, and part a study in obsession. It is written in a way that is as engaging as it is easy to follow. I even bought it for my kindle so I could keep reading at work.

absolutely fascinating and well researched. I appreciated all the footnotes, which only added to story and somehow managed to not disrupt the flow of narration.
