Some victories come at a high price. For Kyle Fasano that price is a headlong fall into hell, a place he never really believed in. Now a living soul trapped in a land of death and terror, he desperately seeks escape, but he's about to learn that the worst place of all can be the hell that lives inside us.

Only gave the first book 4 stars, that may have been a bit unfair as the characters were getting developed and introduced. The second book starts tying things together and I can’t wait to start the third book. The narrator is every bit as good as Richard Ferrone who’s one of my favorite narrators.

Story
When a cop shoots down the son of a respected inner-city Baptist preacher, the community rises up in anger and demands to have the officer prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. But there's something more than a call for justice at work here. There's a plot to bring down the city's police force through a conspiracy so vast and malicious that only Butch Karp, his wife, and his band of truth-seekers can untangle it.

Editor needs a dictionary

Is it too much to ask to have the editor insist that the talent use similar pronunciation for the characters that were used in the past? The guy was superb and I’ll search books narrated by him in the future but I believe the producers should be Bette informed on past productions. Minor annoyance, but other than that every bit as good as listening to Richard Ferrone!
