Story
Born Vincent Capuccio on December 3, 1955, Vinnie Stigma—as his countless friends and fans lovingly refer to him—is the founder and guitarist of New York City's legendary hardcore band Agnostic Front. He's also one of the Big Apple's earliest punk rockers, having frequented such eclectic downtown haunts as Max's Kansas City, The Electric Circus, and of course, CBGB while it was still known as Hilly's on the Bowery during the early 1970s.

Stigma!
Reviewed: 02-11-25
Saw AF over 20 years ago in Florida, and Vinnie invited everybody to go to his tattoo shop and told us, "if anybody gives you any sh**, tell them, that Vinnie f***ing sent you."
He made friends with the crowd, and I'll never forget how down to earth the band was. He is a genuine dude; it's always fun hearing him recount tour stories growing up in of New York on podcasts (some good ones with Toby), and this book is a great collection as well as a glimpse inside his mind.
His friendship with Roger is truly special.

Story
Think and Grow Rich is the number-one inspirational and motivational classic for individuals who are interested in furthering their lives and reaching their goals by learning from important figures in history. The text read in this audiobook is the original 1937 edition written by Napoleon Hill and inspired by Andrew Carnegie - and while it has often been reproduced, no updated version has ever been able to compete with the original.

Noone Else Could Have Narrated This Book

This book made me think hard about my own ambitions as a person, as a professional, a father, a husband. What do I want from life, what really matters, and what will I do or not do?
It boils down to loving and being loved unconditionally, untraditionally.
Noone other that Will could narrate the story of his life to this point. His performance is larger than life, matching the story, and his impersonations (Charlie Mack is my favorite followed by Daddio) give the book an extra personal touch. Take the time to explore the musical and film references. It make the story that much more enjoyable.

Story
A misfit kid at the best of times, Mishka Shubaly had his world shattered when, in a 24-hour span in 1992, he survived a mass shooting on his school's campus then learned that his parents were getting divorced. His father, a prominent rocket scientist, abandoned the family, and their home was lost to foreclosure. Shubaly swore to avenge the wrongs against his mother but instead plunged into a magnificently toxic love affair with alcohol.

Mishka's writing and his songs are a great reminder that we are all inches from greatness and the ditch at the same time. it's up to us which way we go.

Good Info For Entrepreneurs
Reviewed: 08-17-21
This is a good book for someone starting a business without the experience of coming up through major corporations. Otherwise a lot of this information is covered through management development training if your company chooses to partake in suck activities.
I do recommend this bool as a pure version of the information that is often watered down, twisted, or otherwise filtered through a corporation. Moving towards entrepreneurship myself, I would struggle to set up my business without the training I received through my corporate background. This book is an excellent reminder of the fundamentals and a supplement to past experience.
My favorite part of the book is the discussion on how focus the leadership team, eliminate distractions, and to get the most out of meetings. This has been the biggest headache I have faced in my 16 years of manufacturing/management experience.
