Story
Love is angry. Love is blind. Love is envious and loathful. And I loathed Leo Baudin. My new art professor. My enemy. I didn't move to Rhode Island for this. I came to forget the Troian Milanovic I'd left behind and start fresh where the damage and betrayal couldn't follow. But Professor Baudin wouldn't let me.

Story
Walk. Scavenge. Destroy. Trade. A simple cycle that's suited Ronin for 185 years. With no clear grasp of his programming, the barren wasteland known as The Dust offers him purpose, a place where his armored undercasing, amped-up processors, and advanced optics can be put to use. The ramshackle towns on the edges of the waste serve merely as resupply stations between increasingly long treks. But one night - one human woman - makes him question everything.

Slow beginning but what an end
Reviewed: 11-02-23
Wow! Tiffany Roberts never disappoints. I felt in the beginning it was a little slow for me but boy did that change. The love between Ronin and Lara is beautiful. The he struggles they went through in the post apocalyptic robot world are real. They found love that grew into something amazing and damn that epilogue made me ball!

I died for Hostess cupcakes. I know. Tragic, right? Even worse, after I came back, I still didn't get any cupcakes. What I did get, however, is a six-foot-something reaper with eyes like blue fire to guide me into the world of the supernatural. Which, as it turned out, wasn't quite like the fairy tales little girls are told growing up. Not only is magic real, more importantly, so are monsters. And apparently, I'm one of them.

If you want an alien world where women are the minority and men are taught in school how to pleas and provide for a future mate then don’t hesitate on this book!

Story
For nearly four-hundred years, the Veil has protected us from the Fae of Alfheimr. In their absence, our lives have shifted from decadence and sin to survival and virtue under the guidance of the New Gods. I’ve spent my entire life tending to the gardens next to the boundary between our worlds, drawn to the shimmering magic like a moth to the flame. All of that changes the day the Veil shatters, unleashing the fae upon our world once again.

I enjoyed listening to this book but am unsure how far into this series I will go. This book does end on a bit of a cliffhanger so I will definitely try out book two.
