Good but….

This was a great book I loved the storyline and the depth at which it went. My problem lies in the entire book felt like world building. From beginning to end it’s was a lot of info dump and the last 15 chapter felt like they dragged and I struggled to finish it . I do hope the rest of the books are better now that the the thing has been revealed.

Police Chief Nash Morgan is known for two things: Being a good guy and the way his uniform accentuates his butt. Two bullets put a dent in that Southern charm but—thankfully—spared his spectacular rear end. Throw in the gloomy mood that clings to him, and the last thing he needs is a smart-mouthed, gorgeous new neighbor making him feel things he doesn’t have the energy to feel.

I love the horseman series, and I loved the concept of the apocalypse, I loved the performance of the Susanna but I felt the last book didn’t give what I thought it would give. Overall it fell flat for me. But the series as a whole is really good.

This is only the second time I have listened to a book worh dual narration and I love it. The performance was excellent. I do wish the story was longer and not as Insta-love as it was. I felt like it was rushed in the end. I am excited for Sloane’s story though!

Famine has been my favorite so far out of all the horsemen books! The banter between Famine and Ana are GOLD! GOLD! And all the storylines coming together in Death, hav new downloading it now to start! Such a great series! And, as always, the narrator is EXCELLENT!
