Did not like how it ended. Too abrupt
Reviewed: 06-16-17
The story was very well written up until 2/3 of the book. Then it seemed like the author was in a hurry to get the book done and it just quickly all together ended. Or maybe it's that the book was so good I didn't like it to end so fast.

I love this book so much. Karen Kingsbury did a really good job on this novel to remind me yet again of how much God loves us. She writes about His love and perfect plan for us in a simple way that is so eye opening!!!

Story
Written during a long wait, this book opens up Cheryl's painfully honest, personal journals. She explores what it's like to enlist in God's Marriage Boot Camp, and how to survive singlehood year after solitary year. She wrestles with her Creator over multiple best friends that never see her "that way." Then there are those lists of what she wanted - you know, the ones she revised a billion times then laminated for safekeeping. She watches, bewildered, as much younger women find love that seems to elude her.

Story
Since she was just a little girl, Jessie Stone has dreamed up hundreds of marriage proposals and fantasized about wedding dresses and falling in love. She’s been a bridesmaid nearly a dozen times, waved numerous couples off to sunny honey-moons, and shopped in more department stores for half-price fondue pots than she cares to remember. But shopping for one key component in her own happily ever after hasn’t been as productive–a future husband. The man she thought she would marry cheated on her. The crush she has on her best friend Blake is at very best…well, crushing.

I found this novel very revealing to the heart of God and the love and dreams He has for us. Anyone who desires to know how much God loves us should read this book....especially if you're getting frustrated waiting for your husband.
