Story
When the cultivators came to Earth, they destroyed our entire civilization in a matter of hours. Armies fell, cities burned, and that was before the moon turned red and filled our world with monsters. Now, over a decade later, what's left of humanity slaves under the heels of our Qi-infused masters. The luckiest of us might even become one of them, they say—if we serve the Dynasty well enough and harness the power of Qi. But I want none of that. I'm sick of serving, and I want nothing to do with their world. Instead, I want them to pay for what they did to mine.

Story
In a world full of super powers, Felix has a pretty crappy one. He has the ability to modify any item he owns. To upgrade anything. Sounds great on paper. Almost like a video game. Except that the amount of power it takes to actually change, modify, or upgrade anything worthwhile is beyond his abilities. With that in mind, Felix settled into a normal life. A normal job. His entire world changes when the city he lives in is taken over by a super villain. Becoming a country of one city. A city state.

Relationship drama
Reviewed: 07-11-24
Loved the litrpg aspect of building an army up, but it devolves into relationship drama the further you go into the series.
Book 1 is awesome throughout but I couldn't get past book 3 after the author brought in a 5th love interest for the protagonist...Yeah I'm done.

PROS OUTWAY CONS

I'm Listening to the series again, for I don't know how many times, over the past 5 Years since I got it.
Are there holes in the story? Yes. But it's a ton of fun. Just don't listen to series 2. After book 9 it falls off.

awesome from book 1 to the end of book 3. I'm not a writer so I'm not going to do a great job of telling you what this guy does great but man I was hooked from start to finish.
also has a solid ending/ possibility to continue at the end of book 3
also recommend Delvers LLC.

Story
Now a student at Wurthaven, Will is confronted with the truth of the present. The powerful magic embodied by wizards like his grandfather is but a distant memory. Though the practice of the current day is timid and uninspired, Will needs the knowledge that’s preserved and managed by the college. At every turn he finds that sorcery is supreme, while wizards are trained merely to assist and support those who hold the real power - a power based on an evil so deep that few who are living know the truth of its foundation.
