I normally love NSS books. They are normally filled with characters that both kept your heart and spark an intense hatred. He generally paints a picture of the setting that you can nearly be apart of when you close your eyes. His level of details are typically so close and precise that you think he has actually experienced these things......
Well, Wolves is sooo far beyond that. NSS paints an image of a future world that lies somewhere between Firefly and Waterworld society. The human race clings to their humanity with every last ounce of strength while being hunted, eaten, and left for dead. The horrors and beauty found in this book is unparelleled. I read all major of dystopian books from different authors, but NSS always gives more than expected. Wolves is no exception. His different take on how events could unfold to lead humanity to the precipice of extinction is both interesting and unique. Wolves will keep you captivated, gasping, and even laughing at times. The narrator gives such a great performance it feels like there is no way it’s just one person. I wish there were more than 5 stars to give.

Just when you think it’s settling down....
Reviewed: 10-19-18
The narrator brings this story to life like no other. Just when you realize you’ve never left the edge of your seat this story will push you off of it. This book continues the story of Raven and his cohorts through a dreary and dark period following the EMP attack against the US. The realism in this book will make you contemplate the apocalypse in a whole new way. If you’re a fan of dystopian books, and a realism that makes you view your world anew; then this book (and series) is for you!!!!

The Ember War Universe is pretty amazing! Gives you a bit of everything you could hope for; science fiction, military, hope, despair, laughs, and solid good 'ol fashioned hatable characters (both good and bad). I really love the fact that even though a series may end, the universe lives on; one of my favorites by far!
Iron Dragoons takes you through the life of Armor Selection (if you read Ember War you know what that is, if not basically its the only branch of military that allows anyone to join; you just have to prove your metal). This series walks you through the life of a young boy that aspires to make a difference. His trials and tribulations will keep you on the edge of your seat for hours to come. With twists and turns throughout the plot of this book, you won't want to put it down.

This is the second installment of the Hell Divers Trilogy, and it did not disappoint. I Loved the first book in this series. It had a fresh new take on a dystopian world that I hadn't read before then. Ghosts carried that feeling in spades. There were many great things about the book, a lot of good things, and some not so great. The Great: The author does an amazing job keeping you on the edge of your seat. The world that he depicts is unrivaled in its detail an originality. There are points, especially on the airship, that you feel as though you are watching the event unfold in front of...

A terrifying look into a world not far away

This book is a look into a not too impossible day where our society could change forever. Today this is a fiction story, hopefully it stays that way. Nicholas has painted a very vivid picture of the way things could be. If you're looking for a realistic suspense filled ride through a roller coaster of emotions give this book a read (or listen). You won't want to put it down.

What did you love best about Extinction End?
The way it all plays out through this installment is mesmerizing.
What other book might you compare Extinction End to and why?
This book rings closest to Lycan Fallout 2 (Mark Tufo). Completely different genres but the style of both is phenomenal.
Which scene was your favorite?
Team Ghost goes through obvious ups and downs during the end of the world. The way they keep coming no matter what is inspiring. Never as much as when it comes down to the end (of this book). You just can't help but feel like you're there and going through the muck with Ghost.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
I normally listen to about a book a week, this one went by in a day. I just couldn't stop it..
Any additional comments?
If you've gotten this far in the series, this book will blow your mind!!
