About this listen

No power. No rules. No help coming.

The end of the world is just the beginning of the hunt....

Estes Park Police Chief Marcus Colton and tracker Sam "Raven" Spears have never liked one another, but when a young girl goes missing in Rocky Mountain National Park, Colton hires Spears to help find her. Their search ends after a night of catastrophic events. When word reaches Estes Park that the nation has been hit by a coordinated electromagnetic pulse attack, Colton and Spears are forced to work together again. But they quickly realize they aren’t just tracking a killer - they are tracking a madman during the middle of a war on American soil.

Halfway across the country, Senator Charlize Montgomery awakes to find the nation’s capital has gone dark. Forced to set off on foot, she treks across a city that has woken to a new world, and as the night progresses, she learns the EMP attack was just the beginning of the horror.

The explosive Trackers series is a harrowing story of survival and a realistic depiction of what an EMP attack and the aftermath might look like from former Homeland Security Disaster Mitigation Officer and New York Times best-selling author Nicholas Sansbury Smith. Packed full of action, survival tips, and a unique twist on the EMP genre, the Trackers series has thrilled hundreds of thousands of listeners cross the world.

After finishing the Extinction Cycle series, I decided to give this one a try. So worth it, the only drawback was that it ended too soon! On to the next one in the series.

Another home run!!

This book is frighteningly real. It is scary to think how fast human beings may turn on each other in a situation like this . Like the author stated "I hope our government is taking steps to protect us from an EMP attack.

Eye opening.

He does a great job narrating the book.

Great apocalyptic novel

Very enjoyable but very scary! The fact that this is a real possibility is what makes this book so great. As always the detail is excellent and the characters easy to relate to

Really scary stuff!

I enjoy Nicholas' stories... Extinction was epic and full of action. I finished Tracker 1 in a day, and I'm downloading #2 right now. I plan to check out the rest of Nicholas' library in the coming months. I travel a lot for work and his stories keep me awake and enthralled.

NSS Still One of My Favorite s

Can’t say this is a great book, but it’s a good one if you don’t mind some gruesomeness. Narration is fine.

Enjoyed.

I couldn't believe Bronson Pinchot did such a terrible job. almost didn't finish because of his aggravating voices . Hopefully he won't do any more "mountain men" or accidental survivor presidents

took off for natration

I really enjoyed this exciting book. I love a good post Apocalyptic story, but this one was also a good serial killer thrown into the mix. It is also set in one of my favorite places, Estes Park,CO. I think the narrator was awesome. The only thing I had a problem with was when he yelled at certain times. I voluntarily reviewed this audio book after receiving an advanced copy that I requested.

4 and a half stars for this exciting thriller/myst

Kept me captive, great characters, and a murder mystery along with Sci fi, recommend it!

Another great read!

By lacking I mean some really horrible voiced characters that caused a deep seated need to see them in a death scene. Just as a spoiler the end of the world was only a backdrop. Most of the energy is spent on a serial killer with a really bad plot twist.

Dr. A

Good read but the performance was lacking.
