Turns out that laughter is an aerobic activity. That’s the only way I can explain not gaining 50 pounds while listening to this book. Every chapter was a trigger for another craving. I ate and laughed my way through this book. Thanks, Mr Gaffigan, for this highly entertaining book!

Beautiful and life view changing. Laura Lynn is such a reachable person. Her humility and humor makes it so easy to connect with her. I’ve never been into the work of mediums, but she has shifted my mindset absolutely. If it’s possible to be “down to earth” and a psychic, she has found a way. Highly recommend.

Story
Cass is having a hard time since the night she saw the car in the woods, on the winding rural road, in the middle of a downpour, with the woman sitting inside - the woman who was killed. She's been trying to put the crime out of her mind; what could she have done, really? It's a dangerous road to be on in the middle of a storm. Her husband would be furious if he knew she'd broken her promise not to take that shortcut home. And she probably would only have been hurt herself if she'd stopped.

I read a LOT of thriller type books and I have to say that "The Breakdown" really stands out as superior. Absolutely loved every bit of this book. I adored the way BA Paris organized the story too and how she let it unfold.
The narrator was perfect for this book as well. I hope Paris will have her do future books too.
