Love Romey University series
Reviewed: 08-20-23
Another excellent Romey University series. Loved Sharla and Jovani relationship and love for each other. Jovani’s forgiveness to Zo was everything. The exchange between Jovani and his brother was a hoot. As always, the narration was on point.

Love the Maddens
Reviewed: 04-26-23
I really enjoyed listening and catching up with the Madden Family. Carter and Serenity are one of my favorite couples. The heartwarming notes from Carter to each sister-in-law was a really nice touch. The narration was spot on. I love that Sherelle Green interjects passion and humor in all of her stories.

Story
For Carter Madden, his time in the military isn't the only thing that haunts him. For Serenity Taylor, unanswered questions can drive a sane mind mad with speculation. But a Madden man may not be for every woman, especially when broken promises cut deep and unknown secrets whisper loudly in the dark.

I read the book before I listened to the audiobook, but I must say that Jakobi Diem and Mari really brought to life the characters of Carter and Serenity in Carter’s #Undoing. I’m glad Carter and Serenity got their happily ever after. If you haven’t listen or read this book, you are truly missing a treat.

Never have I heard two narrators read characters alternate speaking parts. Nicole Smalls and Jakobi Diem really brought Unfortunately Francine to reality. It was exciting reading the book, but more equally awesome hearing it in audio. Job well done!

Story
Lyrical, poetic, and hypnotizing, The Coming tells the story of a people's capture and sojourn from their homeland across the Middle Passage - a traumatic trip that exposed the strength and resolve of the African spirit. Extreme conditions produce extraordinary insight, and only after being stripped of everything do they discover the unspeakable beauty they once took for granted. This powerful, haunting novel will shake listeners to their very souls.

Excellent read and audio
Reviewed: 11-04-17
I divided my time between between listening and reading the Coming. Not really an audio book listener per se, but I did enjoy JD Jackson’s narrative of the story. He had the right amount of fluctuations in his voice to make the story believable. A sad, but historically depiction of the Middle Passage by Daniel Black. I would definitely recommend this to my fellow readers.
