Story
In colorful and moving details, this audiobook explores how polyamorous relationships come to be, how they grow and change, how they manage the ins and outs of daily family life, and how they cope with the challenges they face both within their families and from society. Using polyamorists own words, Dr. Elisabeth Sheff examines polyamorous households and reveals their advantages, disadvantages, and the daily lives of those living in them.

Very insightful and comprehensive

I used this book for my capstone projecy in Psychology on Intimate Relationships. I found it incredibly helpful since it goes over different dynamics in Polyamourous relationships, including how children of poly folks feel about and fit into the family, joys, and pitfalls. I can't immediately think of any aspect I was curious about that wasn't at least touched on by Sheff. This proved an invaluable resource and I'm glad I found it. That being said the narrator left much to be desired. I found her voice to be dull in most of the text and often grating when a character voice was put on to distinguish members of interviews.
