Story
Adventure and romance enter Vicky Bliss' life in the form of a black-and-white photograph of a woman covered from head to toe in gold jewels. This "Trojan Gold" has an intriguing history, but it is the envelope that piques Vicky's curiosity. It is a grimy brown, with no return address, and it appears to have been soaked in blood.

A little different but really good
Reviewed: 09-02-22
I was sad to hear about the loss of a person who I never knew but loved. I did not want to listen to this book because I was worried that her menory would be sallied but while there was a few differences it was good
I am glad to have Agatha in my life
I think that is what Marian would’ve wanted as well.

Love the series
Reviewed: 05-13-22
I think MC Beaton is wonderful she definitely keeps everything moving. I hate there’s going to be an end of the series but like everything good at some point it must end. I agree with another reviewer I did not like the TV series which was so sad because I was so looking forward to it. I’ve read these books I’ve listen to these books I only‘s books and when I’m down they are like comfort food

Story
Reports of a haunted house soon have amateur sleuth Agatha Raisin snooping around, only to discover the victim of the haunting is a universally disliked old biddy on whom someone is playing a practical joke. But then the old lady is murdered and, for Agatha, solving a crime is much more fun than ghost-busting. Very soon she’s up to her usual tricks, involving the villagers, local police, and, naturally, her handsome new neighbor.
