Story
Dee has always been good at wearing masks. Not letting anyone see the real her. She's content being the happy-go-lucky best friend. The strong willed boss. The independent woman who doesn't need a man. She's terrified that all it will take is one person to make all her carefully constructed walls crumble into fine dust. The second Beck sees Dee, he knows that she will be his. He sees past the gorgeous smiles and heart-stopping laughter.

Terrible narration, depression and sex.

I should have stopped listening on chapter two or three. How many times can one women be beat up, molested and just plain have no luck.
Narration was monotone at best and soynded as pathetic as the charater. Not even interested in any of the other books in this series this one was so bad.
For being such a bad ass man with bad ass friends, they sure could not save her or themselves.

Story
Sarah Haskins’ last family member died months ago, and since then she’s put in way too much overtime at her job as a 911 dispatcher. Looking forward to a much-needed vacation and some peace of mind, she has no way of knowing that buying a piece of antique Cherokee Indian jewelry will forever change her life. When Aaron Kramer wakes on a beautiful August morning in 1890, there is nothing to warn him he is going to be hanged that day—hanged and then saved from death by a very confused woman. Beautiful but not quite right in the head, poor thing, she thinks she’s from the future.

Enjoyed listening to a great story, with characters you can relate too. The story line grew the more you read. Characters you want to root for and a great ending.

Doctor Dominic Corrigan. He's tattooed, cocky, and gorgeous, with bullet scars from working in war zones. I'm a geeky surgeon who hides away in the quiet of her operating theater. We couldn't be more different but from the second we meet, he pursues me...and when I look into those blue eyes, I'm lost. But I know his reputation and I'm determined not to be his next one-night stand. Then disaster strikes our small town...and the two of us become our patients' only hope.

Story
Kristen Leonard is done with setups. She’s not interested in your son or your nephew or your butcher or the guy who mows your lawn, thank you very much, grandma! After all, she’s a modern woman - she’ll take her chances on the algorithms of online dating to find her ideal man. Before long, she meets a man who might just be the one - he’s hilarious, quick-witted, and full of heart. And when she meets up with Cameron in real life, he certainly looks exactly like his profile picture...but something’s not quite right.

I do believe Mia is my new favorite writers. I waited to listen to this book expecting the same old story and was pleasantly surprised. I really did not expect the twist at the end. Great story. A great developing heroine and strong hero.

Loved this book. Characters leap from the page with surprises around every corner. Heartwarming and yes magic does exist...literally. Narration was also enjoyable. I normally do not like the female narrators but enjoyed this one. A little or real life, a little fantasy and a really good story.
