YA BULLY ROMANCE

I think it’s important to come into this novel knowing that it’s a full-on bully romance. However, even with that thought in mind the beginning of this novel had me wanting to snap some heads together. That’s pretty much the point with these types of books but it was infuriating waiting for the turning point that I knew would eventually come. Hailee was a trouper the whole novel taking everyone’s shit and dishing it back – she was a major reason why I liked the story. Personally, I didn’t like Cameron’s “redeeming” backstory but I did understand it. I’m excited to read book 2 next and see where Jason Ford’s story is going to take us. He was by far the most intriguing character for me despite being the biggest bully in the story. The narrators both did a great job – I have no negatives about the performance they gave.

This is one of those feel good books that I adore reading/listening to. I didn't love Lip's character as much as I wanted to because it felt like her quirkiness was forced at times and she made decisions that I felt as an adult she could have handled better even under all the stress. I absolutely adored Wavy and felt like she make Lip's character better. Logan was my second favorite character as he was sweet, understanding and kind when Lip let him talk. Overall a cute story that's worth the read/listen.

In case you were wondering Kelli Tager did a fantastic job as narrator. It's was my first time hearing one of her narrations and I have nothing negative to say,

This is one of those short and sweet romances that I just adore. The characters were done well and easy to like but I found the story itself lacking. It could be because the story is too sort but the challenges the characters life was underdone. Still a great read with an awesome narrator Meg Price.

This book was okay overall but I could not get over Jason's character. I was hoping for a better redeeming moment where I would see the light and the universe would be okay again. great performance as always,

My Virtual Prince Charming is my favorite book in the Geeks Gone Wild trilogy. If you are only going to read one of Maggie Dallens books let it be this one. Suzie and Luke are the cutest and although not entirely original the story line is fantastic. It’s a great YA romance that I’m sure many other adults like me will adore. Lauren Fortgang is awesome as always and Graham Halstead did an amazing job (my first time listening to one of his narrations).

I’ll admit that I read this series out of order and ended up starting with book 3. You can read them as stand-alone novels, but the characters overlap so if you’re planning on reading all three (as you should) I recommend starting with book 1. As always Maggie Dallen has created a fantastic YA romance with witty characters and an engaging story. Also, If I haven’t said it enough in some of my other reviews any book narrated by Lauren Fortgang is bound to be a good one. Shout out to Michael Axtell for some great narration as well. It was my first time listening to him as a narrator and I was very impressed.

Great performance but story lacking

I wish I could give this more stars but the story itself fell flat for me and I was not a fan of the main character Alexa. I usually like the "kick-ass" character theme but I didn't agree or connect with her. I'm also not usually a fan of love triangles so i might be bias but I found it lacking. One of the love interests was rather boring and the other although well developed didn't seem to mesh with the main character although the sex would say otherwise. For me the best speed was 1.5 since it was a bit slow but once speed up it was a great performance by Sarah Puckett.

I think that all three books in the Stateless series were well done. Things in my mind are still left unfinished but I can understand and appreciate. It feels like it leaves it open form more side stories with new main characters. I do however wish that all three books were combined into one. I think that with some editing this could have all been condensed. Overall a good read.

As the secrets behind Stateless begin to unravel Kina and Callum fight to figure out what’s right and wrong. It’s interesting to watch them battle with themselves and the training they received at a young age. Of course, great narrations by Joe Arden and Andi Arndt. Can’t want for the final book!

This is my first time reading/listening to something by Sadie Moss and I’m happy I picked it up! Anything with magic is right up my ally and I love the twist that for once the main character was the only one without magic – yet still a strong character. The narrator Sarah Pavelec did a great job at bringing the characters to like. For those of you who like to listen on the go, be aware of some steamy scenes.
