Book Two is just as fantastic as book one! I fell in love even more with these characters and the Rixon Raiders world that LA Cotton has built. A fantastic book, one filled with heartbreak and sacrifice, I hung on every word performed by Sarah and Wen. I adore these two narrating together! They are two of my favorites and a seriously dynamic duo. Loved it so much!
Jason is a serious asshole, but I loved his transformation and the levels of him that you get to see as his layers are peeled away. So many feels in this one.

This is the first series, second book, I've read/listened to by L A Cotton. I loved this book even more than the first...and that is saying a lot! The characters have completely gained my heart and I'm completely invested in their stories! I cried, smiled, then cried some more. I look forward to the next book!

Sarah Puckett and Wen Ross are excellent narrators. Their performances truly brought this book to life. They are two of my favorite narrators!

Y’all, I think I spent about 85% of this book cussing Jase out!
Ok, now that I have that out...
I loved seeing Cam and Hailee all loved up, and sweet Asher holding back from shooting his shot, while encouraging the rest of the world to not mess things up. And I can’t wait for Asher’s book.
But Jase & Flick? When I got done yelling at him, my whole heart just pitter pattered over his sweetness that he kept tucked far far away.
His walls were high, but she scaled them like a champ.
This stuff right here? Absolute heart melting GOLD:
“I’d chase you to the ends of the earth. You’re mine, Felicity. Every single piece of you.”
A million stars. Seriously.

Felicity has her list, her senior year bucket list. Lose her virginity, fall in messy love, skip class, fall asleep under the stars, have a real drink at Bells. Jason Ford isn't exactly on her list but then again... QB1 is everything Felicity should avoid. He doesn't do girlfriends, he's tormented her best friend for years, he will destroy her. Jason isn't interested. Felicity is not his type, She's a smart-mouthed pain with no fashion sense; she's not his type and worst of all she's a distraction. He has his sights set on college and the pros. He can't afford any distractions. So why can't they stay away from each other?

This is such an entertaining series. Felicity and Jason are one of those couples that frustrate you to the point of screaming. Their friends know they should be together. The readers know they should be together. But the couple themselves does everything possible to deny the inevitable. They tease, they taunt, they deny. These two have just great chemistry, fantastic banter, and challenge each other in the best and worst of ways.

Sarah Puckett and Wen Ross did a great job bringing this story to audio. They made each character distinct. #AudiobookObsessionReviewer

L. A. Cotton has written a high school romance filled with lots of angst, drama, hurt feelings, misunderstandings, revelations, and love. In other words typical feelings of high schoolers. Jason feels love is not for him and we will learn why. Felicity knows this but her heart can't help itself. Their road to love is a rocky one that is filled with twists and turns. You will feel like kicking some sense into Jason.

Sarah Puckett and Wen Ross are two extremely talented narrators. They draw you into the story by making you feel the emotions of these characters. I highly recommend this Audible book.

This is a great book abt a football jock who tried to avoid falling for his step sisters best friend. All time while he is suffering from mixed signals and confusion due to his own family screw ups! Takes some pretty amazing friends to stand up for him and remind him that you can’t help who you fall for and she maybe the best thing ever! She is too good for him and needs to spread her wings! Her parents are a little over bearing/controlling and not only does she fall for the football jock, but she finally finds what makes her happy! Narration is great with connecting you into the story line!

I received this audiobook free, as an Audiobook Obsession Reviewer, for an honest review. Can you say "angst"? Felicity and Jason have a relationship in turmoil. The hot jock and the wall flower good girl. This is a great story about the trials and tribulations of young love. The narrators are awesome. Love that Sara Puckett and Wen Ross take narration to the next level. Looking forward to more books by L.A. Cotton.

The Game You Play (Rixon Raiders #2) is a ya sports audio with an enemies to lovers sub-trope told in dual pov. This author writes books that are highly addictive and this novel fits that perfectly. Character's are compelling with complex personalities,  an array of supporting characters that accentuate the narrative. I absolutely love the arrangement and the football game technicalities which was well researched. The narrative glides through smoothly. I love this cutting-edge cosmo that this author has created. I love the comradery of  the characters. Looking forward to listening to the next novel in this highly enslaving series.

Narrators Sarah Puckett, Wen Ross dual narration was perfect. I'm able to distinguish between the male & characters easily. I just love these two narrators individually. Wen Ross's baritone voice is intoxicating and easy to listen to all day long. Sarah Puckett excels in her ability to create male and female voices. Her inflection is provocative and creates a sense of euphoria. Listening to this series in audio is a peachy experience.

Overall, I love the narrative as well as the narrators which brings the vibrant narrative alive.

The Game You Play By L.A. Cotton is a YA/NA enemies to lovers sports romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Sarah Puckett and Wen Ross.

All I can say is Wow! This is an amazing book and I cannot wait until The Harder You Fall is released on January 7, 2020. Lianne did an amazing job with the characters. I just had to know how the story was going to end. I enjoy that each book can be read as a standalone but are based around the same group of friends just a different relationship.

Once again Sarah and Wen knocked it out of the park. They are an amazing duo. I look forward to listening to more of their work in the future.

I would highly recommend this book to anyone who loves Young Adult, Enemies-To-Lovers Romance, or Sports Romance.
