Teddy is once again the saving grace

Junior & Teddy are the saving graces of this book, honestly had Teddy not been the VA i probably would have DNF'd this early in. Lauren is not likeable. She is so rude, and quick to judge others while at the same time complaining and shutting down anyone who even attempts a judgement, sometimes before they even judge her. Like girly we get it, some people are mean to you about your sex work, that does not mean everyone is. She kept saying oh i've given Junior so many chances, but did you really.... no you pretended to until any little thing went wrong and then you shut him down, without letting him explain. I don't think i have disliked an FMC this much ever in my life. I felt like i was being preached to anytime Lauren had an inner monologue. Junior had been fixing her life for 10 years, was her #1 benefactor the whole time, and even after she learned all that, she still thought the worst of him. I just..... this was not up to Lights Out standards. Josh & Ally, and Junior deserve better then Lauren. Also, why put a motorcycle helmet on the cover for him to ride, 1-2 times, and never with her? Irritating.

I originally read this book on Kindle Unlimited and fell in love with Saint…. So when I saw the audio I KNEW I had to listen. The voice actors did such an amazing job bringing this story to life. I have never purchased anything faster!!!
