Story
Followers of Christ need to relearn what it means to stand courageously for their faith rather than merely survive in a climate of fear. Instead of motivating believers to action, today's headlines appear to be paralyzing them. Standing in the Fire demonstrates the church triumphant through the lives of people who stood strong and didn't run away in the face of overwhelming danger. These Middle Eastern heroes of faith fear God more than terrorist groups like ISIS.

Story
When Jesus spoke about the last days, He said that certain signs would make it clear His return is near. What are those signs? And are they evident today? As a Jewish-native Israeli who is a Christian, Amir Tsarfati has a distinct perspective that weaves biblical history, current events, and Bible prophecy together to shine light on the mysteries about the end times. From his vantage point at the epicenter of today’s religious conflict and through careful Bible study, Tsarfati points to Scripture passages that inform us the return of the Lord is imminent.

Funny, Poetic, Enlightening!

I’ve been recommending this book and author to everyone! I started with the print version and loved it so much, that it is not COVERED in highlights and notes! Eventually I decided to try the audio version as well. Amir is delightful, brilliant, joyous and God-loving man! He was able to write a book exploring End Time prophecies, and where they fit in with current unfolding events...and yet somehow not make it sound like “doom and gloom”! Instead it’s packed with brilliant insights I’ve honestly not come across in many of the other “end time” books I’ve read.
Absolutely LOVE this author and highly recommend this book!

Story
Destroy the traditions of man and lies of religion that nullify the power of God in your life. What we believe about God and how he works can have a dramatic impact on how we approach him and what we expect of him. Many Christians believe lies about God that keep them bound and prevent healing in their bodies and in their lives. This guide helps you learn what some of the top lies are that hold Christians and unbelievers back when it comes to divine healing.

Eye Opening - A MUST for every Christian
Reviewed: 05-07-18
This book was phenomenal. It was incredibly eye opening. I consider myself a spiritual person and no stranger to the scripture. Yet the author opened my eyes to so many things that I have completely overlooked while believing majority of the devil-planted lies that we so popularly quote for why we only see part of Jesus’ works on earth today.
So many of the scriptures reference salvation and healing as hand-in-hand, as demonstrated in this book. Yet the new modern practice is to put on the salvation shoe and limp away leaving the healing one behind in the way we walk with Christ. Why than did Jesus suffer so greatly, why did he instruct us to go about the earth and heal the sick and deliver demons only for us to ignore almost all of it and say it’s not for us, or not for today. All blatant lies.
Also, what I love about this book and what is so important is that it gets straight to the point. It’s quick, easy to listen to, and it gets past all the nonsense of what we “think” or “believe” and gets straight to the TRUTH of SCRIPTURE. The world lives in lies, people justify sins with lies, and stumble in the darkness believing lies. What we need is GOD and His WORD.
Whether you are a common Christian, or a pastor looking to take better care of his/her flock; no matter what the denomination, the TRUTHS in this book are for you.
I think this book would also make a great group Bible study. Either way it is a must for every brother and sister in the body of Christ.

With Give and Take, Adam Grant not only introduced a landmark new paradigm for success but also established himself as one of his generation’s most compelling and provocative thought leaders. In Originals he again addresses the challenge of improving the world, but now from the perspective of becoming original: choosing to champion novel ideas and values that go against the grain, battle conformity, and buck outdated traditions. How can we originate new ideas, policies, and practices without risking it all?

Political book disguised as a business book
Reviewed: 11-10-17
This book started out like any basic business book, however kept ending up all over the place with no concrete path other than to push a specific political agenda. Incredibly disappointing, not much to do with creative and original lifestyle. More using amazing peaceful revolutionaries like Lucy Stone and Dr. Martin Luther King as examples to defend murderous radicals like Ukrainian Neo-Nazis, Syrian Radical Islamist, and more that have been responsible for murder of million of lives. I think Dr. King and Lucy stone would be turning in their graves if they know their names were used in the same reference as radical murderers, with weapons and hatred destroying modern Middle Eastern and European countries.
If you want an good book on creative and original thinking personally and from my family and friends I would highly suggest: 1) "Contagious by Jonah Berger, and 2) "Rejection Proof" by Jia Jiang. Great books by truly creative one-of-a-kind thinkers.

Not only was this the funniest book I have ever read/listened to, it's also the only one on this topic. Coming from someone that used to be shy and insecure as a teen and young adult, and now working in sales...the pit of vulnerability and rejection I found this book to be so refreshing and assuring. Generally ability to not care much about rejection comes with age, but such a small percentage of it....this book gives you ALL of it. Step back and soak in the whole picture, the truth on rejection.
THANK YOU Jia Jian for writing such an important book.
