Story
They are stronger, heal better, and think faster than any humans ever created - and they must be destroyed. Not even Victor Helios - once Frankenstein - can stop the engineered killers he's set loose on a reign of terror through modern-day New Orleans. Only the one-time "monster" Deucalion and his all-too-human partners, Detectives Carson O'Connor and Michael Maddison, stand in their way.

Story
Thinking all monasteries were like the ones he saw in the movies, Jesse Itzler arrived at the New Skete religious community in remote Cambridge, New York, with a shaved head and a suitcase filled with bananas. To his surprise, New Skete monks have most of their hair. They're Russian Orthodox, not Buddhist, and they're also world-renowned dog breeders and authors of dog-training books that have sold in the millions.

I loved this book. It's real and inspirational. I have since reading the book signed up for a Tough Mudder. I'm scared to death but excited to see how far I can push myself.

Good story, poorly written

Great storyline, the writing is just amateurish and the narrator makes the main character seem to be more of a cartoon than a character with actual depth. They laugh about everything and I mean everything. the main character seems more of a teenager trying way too hard to make the class laugh. The narrator lacks the talent to distinguish from one character to the next. If you are looking for a more juvenile, light hearted story this might be perfect. Otherwise keep looking, I couldn't finish the series.

Great book! Loved the story line. Good to know in such a huge company it's possible for management to honestly care about their employees and performance. It was an eye opener to GE, their values, and the people running the show. I would highly recommend this book. I listened on the way to and and from work. Definitely made my 50 minute commute alot easier.
