Story
There's no shortage of networking and entrepreneurship advice in books and on social media in today's world-but it's harder than ever to know what's authentic. To make matters worse, taking the wrong advice can result in superficial connections, transactional relationships, and unsatisfying interactions with others without any real rapport. Fortunately, as entrepreneur and marketer extraordinaire Joe Polish has discovered, there's a simple (though sometimes not easy) way out that begins with one question: "What's in it for them?"

Actionable and valuable
Reviewed: 03-02-23
The book is well-written and easy to read, and Joe’s personal experiences make it fun and relatable. Each chapter focuses on a specific approach, providing practical advice and actionable steps for anyone to apply in their own lives.
One of the things I appreciated most about this book is how much emphasis Joe places on serving others. He makes it clear that effective entrepreneurs are not self-centered, but rather they focus on providing value and helping others solve problems . This perspective is refreshing and needed in the world of marketing and entrepreneurship , and it is a key reason why Joe has been successful bringing people together in his Genius Network.
Overall, I highly recommend What's In It For Them to anyone who wants to become a more effective entrepreneur and connector, whether in their personal or professional life.

Well rounded experiment

A practical guide to breathwork was an excellent read. Jesse did such a great job of combining so many different modalities, philosophies, science and history so that you can learn breathwork from so many different angles. The breast for programs that he has towards the end of the book are also super beneficial because you can take a variety of different styles to incorporate them all into your own breathwork set that you can apply for waking up with mental focus and energy or calming down in the evenings to get ready for deep and rapid eye movement sleep.

Story
In Mitochondria and the Future of Medicine, naturopathic doctor Lee Know tells the epic story of mitochondria - the widely misunderstood and often-overlooked powerhouses of our cells. The legendary saga began over two billion years ago, when one bacterium entered another without being digested, which would evolve to create the first mitochondrion. Since then, for life to exist beyond single-celled bacteria, it's the mitochondria that have been responsible for this life-giving energy.

One of the best books I’ve ever read covering tools for every day perception of self and others. A glimpse into the the “game” we’re playing here on this plane called earth....
