Story
Flann O'Brien's most popular and surrealistic novel concerns an imaginary, hellish village police force and a local murder.
Weird, satirical, and very funny, its popularity has suddenly increased with the mention of the novel in the TV series Lost.

Gentle yet wise. That will explain the book.
Props to the publisher for the soothing narration and soundtrack.
N.B. keep in mind that Rilke wrote these letters without any intention to publish. Therefore, read them as you are reading a letter received by a friend, not as a classic you read in a typical afternoon.

In consequence of a number of stunning catastrophes, Arthur Dent is surprised to find himself living in a hideously miserable cave on prehistoric Earth. However, just as he thinks that things cannot get possibly worse, they suddenly do. He discovers that the Galaxy is not only mind-boggingly big and bewildering but also that most of the things that happen in it are staggeringly unfair.

Though the story was not as hilarious as the 1st book, it was still a great book to listen to.
I was blown away by Martin Freeman's narration. When listening to his narration, it was very easy to create mental pictures on each character. Looking forward to listen to more of his recordings!

Story
If you’ve done six impossible things this morning, why not round it off with breakfast at Milliways, the Restaurant at the End of the Universe? Which is exactly what the crew of the Heart of Gold plan to do. There’s just the small matter of escaping the Vogons, avoiding being taken to the most totally evil world in the Galaxy and teaching a space ship how to make a proper cup of tea. And did anyone actually make a reservation?

In which we meet Tigger the Bouncy Tiger and sniff a bit
Just like its prequel, this has some lovely poems, stories and a speckle of Eeyore's existential midlife crisis.
Having said that, I didn't expect to find myself teary-eyed, but bother! Have being subscribed to an inevitable adulthood, I knew it wouldn't be as exciting as my childhood was, and this little booklet beautifully and shockingly proved me correct. At the end of the book, you are left searching for hanky panky while hugging your teddy bear.
I don't think I would ever enjoy better another version of this story than this recording. Props to the narrator Peter Dennis and the soundtrack designer 👏

Story
Come with us to an Enchanted Place, a forest where Winnie-the-Pooh lived with Piglet, Rabbit, Owl, Eeyore, Kanga, and Little Roo. The stories are about Christopher Robin and these good companions having wonderful times getting in and out of trouble. It is all very exciting and, really, quite thrilling no matter how young or old you may be. It is painful to try and imagine what the world would be like without them.

It was a while since I read a children's book, and to be honest, this was just a random catch. One rainy evening, while feeling blue, I was searching for something to read to cheer myself up. And now I'm off to read the rest of the series!
This Audible record by Peter Dennis is a beauty. Lo, the music! It was truly some sweet honey to the Pooh and his friends' marvellous adventures.
If you think you are way older to listen to this, you are definitely missing out something beautiful.
