i fell in love with Patricia Cornwell years ago, but her books that are later in the series lack the passion and focus that I loves in the first 8 or so.

I am from the areas that are in this book, and I felt like I went home ❤️ The story is so real and tragic and full of strength. I am recommending it to everyone I know.

I enjoyed this story, and I would recommend it. I wish it was slightly more I tense, but it's still good.

I love horse stories and equine athletes, but I had never heard of Lexington. I am so glad I listened to this book and gained even a grain of new knowledge about the trials that people and animals, endure in their lifetime.

The narrator did a great job capturing the excited voices of the characters, and I appreciate the credit given to the athleticism of the horses so that it was not just all about the riders.

The story itself was good (I like this author), and the narrator's voice fit the part, but I HATED the music dropped in. It cheapened the experience and was grating to listen to.
