Now the horseman, very much alive and very pissed off, has taken her prisoner, and he’s eager to make her suffer. Only, the longer she’s with him, the more uncertain she is about his true feelings towards her, and hers towards him. And now, well, Sara might still be able to save the world, but in order to do so, she'll have to sacrifice her heart in the process.

I absolutely adore the imagination, creativity, world building, character developments, comedy and romance that Laura masterfully weaves into everyone of her stories! There are reasons she is my favorite author and this book just gave me another:) I loved the pace of the book. It was scary at times, funny and sad.. with romance that was beyond yummy. Her lead characters are always my favorite as they are almost always flawed in some way yet strong and smart. They save the day and kick some butt:) while most of this authors works are more young adult (16+) this is more New adult 18+ for sure for language and sexual content. I can’t wait for the next book! Bring on War!!!
