Story
The loss of control. The fear of desire. Allie always thought that mysteriously sexy rancher Caleb Johnson wanted her as much as she wanted him. But since he never acted on it, she was ready to admit defeat. Until the night she was attacked by a vicious wolf, only to be rescued by another. In the triumphant, bloodied male, there was something Allie recognized---the baritone growl, the mesmerizing eyes, the inexplicable animal attraction. Her savior was Caleb.

I am glad to get more story and less sex. The story is what counts. Also happy for the triplets and others to get their story. Just enough drama to keep me interested and awaiting the next story. These stories are better without the constant sex scenes, leave those for the MC club books. Thank you for considering all of your readers.

Good story, bad sex
Reviewed: 04-01-23
I loved the story and always wish we had shadow riders or Carpathians to save the people caught up in the sex trafficking. I am not in to pain with sex so it took a while for me to finish the book. I would listen to something else and come back to it. Some reviewers said the narrator was not good but he is the best for Ms Feehan books

I had high hopes for this series but it didn’t live up to it. I will return it. His mother hyped him so much that I gave the second book another chance. I didn’t like the first and the second left me struggling to listen to it. I got to chapter 6 and said forget it.

I loved the story. I was glad that Kir was able to see how much he meant to the group. Also to see how fierce a wife and mother can be when her family is attacked. An extra ordinary story and less sex so I could actually hear the whole story

Tracker is everything I've ever wanted. I see him. I've watched time change him. I've been patient, but he still hasn't noticed me. Not the way I want him to. The more time I spend with the MC, the more I understand. When you want something, you have to take it. You have to fight for it. And Tracker is more than worth fighting for....

Not what I expected

It may just be me, but Mrs. Feehan hyped this book up, I had to try it. I generally finish her books in one setting. This one was strange to me. Each chapter took me out of the story to try to remember what the other story was about. The first chapters kept going back into the past with the female lead, then jumped to the present with the male lead. I struggled to keep up. I am on day 2 with another author in between and have not gotten halfway through. I finally got to the meeting and it's a hot mess. I will continue with the hope it will get better. But the beginning chapters leave a lot to be desired. I understand no two authors are alike but this is not going to be a style I can embrace.
