Story
After forming a coalition of human resistance against the enemy invasion, Dalinar Kholin and his Knights Radiant have spent a year fighting a protracted, brutal war. Neither side has gained an advantage, and the threat of a betrayal by Dalinar’s crafty ally Taravangian looms over every strategic move. Now, as new technological discoveries by Navani Kholin’s scholars begin to change the face of the war, the enemy prepares a bold and dangerous operation. The arms race that follows will challenge the very core of the Radiant ideals.

Another classic by Brandon Sanderson.

Continuing on the Stormlight Archive story, Brandson Sanderson weaves an interesting story that goes beyond where I expected it and further builds out the Cosmere. The writing is fantastic, the voice performances by Kate and Michael Reading is on point as always, and the central drama and secondary characters all tella riviting political and ideological story.
Highly recommended for fans of fantasy and interesting world building/magic systems.

Story
After experiencing his first panic attack on New Year's Day of 2003, Dan Ryckert began a 12-year process of learning how to channel panic disorder and generalized anxiety disorder until they became driving forces in his life. Using anxiety as his ally, he was able to land dream jobs within the video game industry and vastly improve the quality of his personal life. In this candid recollection, you'll learn about how he went from having panic attacks during college roll calls to speaking in front of large crowds with minimal interference from anxiety.

Helpful, down to earth.

The author and read, Dan Ryckert, is a lovable goof with some stories to tell about his anxiety and how he has mostly overcome it. The book feels a little book-reporty and Dan is obviously not a well practiced audio book reader, but he reads his words with heart and enthusiasm.
He offers interesting viewpoints and tips for dealing with anxiery and has given me more tools to help me deal with mine.

Story
When the Colonial Marines set out after their deadliest prey, the Xenomorphs, it's what Corporal Hicks calls a bug hunt - kill or be killed. Here are fifteen all-new stories of such "close encounters", written by many of today's most extraordinary authors. Set during the events of all four Alien films, sending the Marines to alien worlds, to derelict space settlements, and into the nests of the universe's most dangerous monsters, these adventures are guaranteed to send the blood racing - one way or another.

Fun collection of interesting stories

A great collection of stories from the Alien universe ranging from alternate viewpoints from the movies to stories about other types of aliens and wildlife Colonial Marines have to deal with. Most stories were interesting with maybe two stinkers, and most readers were great!

For fans of the 80's "The Thing", a must listen.

As a huge fan of John Carpenter's "The Thing" I was excited to see Audible had the story that it was based off of. The reading is well done and read with multiple voices to distinguish the characters. The story is familiar to those that have seen the 80's movie, but it does go into further detail of how the Thing works. Well worth the listen, and just like the movie, well worth listening to multiple times.
