Story
Okiku wants vengeance...and she gets it. Whenever there's a monster hurting a child - the same way she was hurt 300 years ago in Japan - her spirit is there to deliver punishment. But one American boy draws her like no other. The two are pulled into a world of eerie doll rituals and dark Shinto exorcisms that will take them from the American Midwest to the remote valleys and shrines of Aomori, Japan. The boy is not a monster, but something evil writhes beneath his skin, trapped by a series of intricate tattoos.

It’s fine.

The story is fine. Promising start but overall didn’t do a lot to explain the “why.” Fine if you prefer an experience over a story. The narrator did a decent job but I feel like they could have gotten someone with an understanding of the Japanese language considering half of the story takes place in Japan.

In the technologically advanced African city of Numbani, in the not-so-distant future, humans live in harmony with humanoid robots known as omnics. But when a terrorist tries to shatter that unity, a hero named Efi Oladele rises! Efi has been making robots since she was little - machines to better her community and improve people's lives. But after she witnesses Doomfist's catastrophic attack on the city's OR15 security bots, Efi feels the call to build something greater: a true guardian of Numbani.

Great story, phenomenal performance.

A very cute story with several exciting Easter Eggs for Overwatch Players, and perhaps a tie in for the characters into the upcoming sequel?
Cherelle’s performance was incredible. The different voices and accents she gave each of the characters were flawless. A heavy recommendation to all OW fans.

The perfect prequel
Reviewed: 08-27-20
This is the perfect prequel. It builds on the world of ATLA and LOK without relying on story elements from those two, and spins a thrilling and enrapturing tale all of its own. Beautifully performed and masterfully written, I’d highly recommend this to any Avatar fans, new and old.
