Just not good
Reviewed: 11-01-24
I honestly thoroughly did not enjoy this. It is a great value you get lots of content for one credit and that's cool that's the only cool thing. strange music that totally does not match the story often almost always in the background. the overall audio quality is also poor strange noises in the background volume that goes up and down. The reader often uses the wrong voices for another character causing story confusion. There are chapters missing and chapters that repeat so you just kind of have to figure it out as you go. Then u get the the actual story it should just be called A Series of Unfortunate Events in multiple genres of Fantasyland. Twice as long as it needed to be. This is the only bad book review I have ever left. I'm not even sure why I finished it I just kept waiting for it to get better. That's not to say there aren't random good moments but with 128 Hours of book there would almost have to be even by accident

Story
They sent me into the blasted lands to die. I refused. I lived. And now...I return to the empire that discarded me. A god, rich with worship. I don't know what has become of Hasra, or the war with the Fomori. I don't know where Li is, or if her homeland is still dealing with the wyrm Khonsu. My sister and mother were freed—the reward for my blood price— but I have no idea what has become of them. It is time to go home. Time to right old wrongs, and to find the legacy left behind by my former incarnation. Three tombs remain. Once I am certain my family is safe I will seek them.

In Feorlen, Talia faces a world unaccepting of a rider queen. Her councilors will not heed her warnings of Sovereign. Foreign powers threaten war and bloodshed. Pleas sent to rider headquarters fall on deaf ears.
