Story
Peter Nimble and His Fantastic Eyes is the utterly beguiling tale of a ten-year-old blind orphan who has been forced into a life of crime. Would you listen to Peter Nimble and His Fantastic Eyes again? Why?
I would play it again if the kids wanted to listen to it again.
Who was your favorite character and why?
They liked one of the ravens, whose name I can't remember now.
Which scene was your favorite?
The kids really liked the ending when everything finally started to sort out and we found out some secrets about Peter Nimble's past.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
No.
Any additional comments?
The story is definitely not for older kids, as it has serious logic gaps --for example, at one point ravens are "flying out of the faucets" or something like that, and there were many other instances where the facts just didn't make sense. However, my kids (6 and 8) didn't notice, or didn't mind when they did catch it. They had a lot of fun with the story.

Story
Are you an author struggling to find time to write? You've worked eight grueling hours at the day job, walked the dog, done the dishes, and put the little ones to bed. How do you still complete your writer to-do list after all of that? It might seem like there's never enough time, but you can find a way to create. You can publish regularly while balancing all those other tasks in your life.

Would you listen to The Juggling Author again? Why?
I would definitely listen to this again. There is so much useful information you can't absorb it all at once. Additionally, the narrator has a fantastic dry wit.
What does John Alan Martinson Jr. bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
He totally grasped the author's sense of humor and delivered perfect deadpan humor everywhere it was needed. His narration was crisp and clear, very easy to understand.
What’s an idea from the book that you will remember?
My favorite section covered how to efficiently write your first, second and third drafts to not waste time and still get a great product.
Any additional comments?
I have been recommending this book to all my author friends!
