Tragic is over and Rook is ready for the future - Spencer Shrike and the Sturgis contract! It's three months of body art modeling! That means three months of Spencer Shrike's paintbrush all over her body, three months in front of Antoine's camera, and three months of 24-hour filming for Spencer's Biker Channel reality show. Wait a minute...what reality show? Maybe she should've read that Sturgis contract a little closer?

This was a super book. It was a warm romance with a twist of "uniqueness ". This book kept me listening and coming back for more. The audio is part of what sells this book. I am so glad i spent hard earned money on this book. Every oppertunity to listen is an oppertunity to escape and step out of a tough day even if it is a mental escape. Keep writing and keep up the good work.

I really liked this book. It had a story line that held my attention. There was some pretty decent sex scenes to. I love the twists and drama of "Meet Me In The Dark" and "The Company" series. This book did not contain that degree of triggering material, which is what I missed in this book. I'm still glad I got it though.
The narration is what made this book. I love these two voices. Tad and Ava's voices is what prompted me to choose this book. These two together never fail to provide an awesome listening experience.
Thank you all for the combined effort to write a great book and for bringing it to life threw narration.

I absolutely love this book. I am listening to this book for a second time. I listened to the Come series and went back to this one to help understand all the pieces better. this book though is such an awesome thriller. I love how it includes torture and brainwashing as well as love and sex. It even has a happy ending. if you are thinking about purchasing this book and can't decide if you should or not, let me tell you, you definitely should. You will not be sorry.

this book was ok. I am assuming it didn't catch my attention and hold it so well because it was the first in the series and was setting up for the rest of the books to come.
the setting was a little hard to believe. if u could decide to go with it, which I did, it was not so bad.
the sex scene and the almost sex scenes were very good. I was kind of hoping for more of that but if this were the book that sets the tone and introduction then I guess it is the right amount.
I usually read "The Company and Meet me in the Dark" type books by JA Huss. This one does not rank up there in that intensity, but if u are looking for a good book with a twist of eroticism, some romance and NO killing then this book fits that bill.

This book is a true nail biter. it has love, hot men, beautyful females, lust, sex, muder, trickery, dinosaurs and a happy ending. Thus book helps put the whole story together, almost like Star Wars which was written in reverse order, so was this. now I gave to go back and listen to the other books again to continue putting the puzzle together in my head.
I bought this book on a Friday and finished it in 5 days. The audio version really brings this book to life. I am so glad all the voices are done the same from book to book. This is such a great read. I don't know where this author gets these ideas. it is totally sick and twisted and I love it. Guess that makes me a little sick and twisted to.
To say I highly recommend this book is a huge understatement. There are just no words to describe this book that can do it the justice it deserves. I must thank JA Huss for her efforts to provide a true to life experience if you have suffered at the hands of another. This book, well this whole series, gives me courage to push past my own demons. Thank you again for your devotion and effort in putting this series together.

I really liked this book. this book told about the many aspects of porn, other then the obvious. The narration added to the quility. The background music, the frequent warning about the contents, even the dialect, which was hard to understand in the beginning, made this book open to the senses thus creating a better overall product. I'm so glad I bought this book.

I loved this book. There was a perfect amount of real life drama and a real life savior to make this story really speak to your heart.
The PTSD warning attached to this story was a good choice. This story truly struck home and I had to skip past some parts of this book. Making it personal only addad to the story. though it was triggering it was also encouraging Iin a real believable kind of way not a fairytail.
I'd definitely recommend this book.

Story
Ford Aston is not too picky about what he wants out of Christmas. He's not into this holiday - like at all. He doesn't do presents or family dinners or parties or church. He does pets. And he's got one lined up for Christmas Eve. In fact it's the highlight of his day. And if he can get through drop-in visits, nosy 12-year-olds, an inappropriate conversation with his best friend's girlfriend, dinner with a family that's not his, and a party at his mother's house - well, he might just get home in time to enjoy himself with a stranger and make it all okay.

I liked this book. it was just addictive enough to captivate my thoughts. It was not to dark and did not contain to much drama. The description used d urring the more sexual parts was perfect, revealing enough but not over the top.
Generally I like more dark and suspenseful books by this author. This book was not like that. I miss that sort of reading material. but if you are not into the kind of darkness and suspence like in "One, Two, Three, then this is the perfect book for you.
My only complaint is : What happened to Sasha. That tidbit of info leaves me wondering.

I am loyal, but I will betray you. I am strong, but I have scars. I am an angel, but the devil. I met her when I was 16 and she was a breath of fresh air. She swooped in, making me smile. But then she left, taking my next breath with her. Her smile could light up a room, making my black heart pitter patter. I found her again 10 years later, with a syringe in her arm. Blood coming from between her legs. She was broken and I was glad she was broken. She wouldn't think less of me and my damaged ways.
