No matter how hard you search for the perfect home, you must also be just as diligent in researching your neighbors! This is the story of Michael and Amelia buying their first home, in the perfect area, chosen for prestige. After being invited to a BBQ at the Cul de Sac matriarch and patriarch’s home to meet the neighbors NOTHING is as it seems.
The characters are complex and well developed and no one writes a good gut clinch like Liz Crowe. Cul de Sac is not a romance but there is a sexual undertone in this psychological thriller. This book is a roller coaster ride with twists and turns and an unexpected killer.
I started this book with my eyes (kindle) and finished it with my ears (Audible). The reader was fantastic and the book credit worthy!

In Vegas, there was one man who was off-limits. One man...and I fell for him. I knew there were risks. Still, I played the game. When Dario Capece called, I answered. When he beckoned, I came. When he broke all my rules, I looked the other way. I knew there were risks. I just never realized they included death.

What a well read thrill ride!

The perfect ending for this action packed love story of Dario and Bell. Bell continues to be a strong independent woman who knows how to say no. It’s actually her super power and Dario’s kryptonite. Book one Even Money ends in cliff and this book picks up right from that point and heads straight in to an action packed thrill ride. It’s an amazing journey. A great suspenseful story with loads of loving along the way.
Let me gush just a bit about the readers. Duet reading, Dexter Collins reading the male lines, and Elizabeth Powers the female lines. NOT chapters, the actual dialogue. It’s amazing and now my new gold standard for readers. Dexter does a great job as Laurent with a thick Cajun accent. The readers make the journey 1/2 the fun.
The book ends with a glorious happily ever after for two people who are perfect for each other without losing their personal identities along the way. Add this series to your must read list, it’s an action packed thrill ride.

Sometimes it only takes a minute. A connection of eyes across a room, a quickened heartbeat, and everything changes. I was a cocktail waitress with a fondness for partying and meaningless sex. He owned half of Vegas, with the reputation to match. I should have turned away. Instead, I stepped closer. Then, the lies started. Rumors spread. Stalking commenced. And someone died. None of it stopped me from falling in love.

I knew there was a cliff, yes I KNEW! It’s bad, really bad, gut clutching bad. I know better than to start a new duo or trilogy before all the books or in this case the Audibles are out! PALM SLAPS HEAD.
What a wonderful, sexy suspense full read. The. Best. Now I wait to see what happens in this twisted F’ed up mess. GAH! Great characters you cannot help but love and the duet reading is by far the best I’ve listened to ever. I am so glad authors are embracing duet reading, it’s fantastic. Book count for 2018? 112. 110 are Audibles.

Story
When romance novelist Kate Smith suddenly gets writer's block as she's beginning the final installment of her international best-selling erotic Bed 'n Breakfast series, she'll do pretty much anything to get her groove back. Like sneak into a Tire Depot waiting room because her words flow there just like complimentary coffee - smooth, sweet, and scorchingly hot. She manages to fly under the radar until the rugged and charming mechanic, Miles Hudson, notices the quirky redhead slinking in and out of the employees-only entrance. But she's way too intriguing to blow the whistle on.

Only Amy Daws could take a real life oil change situation and turn it into a sexy funny rom com. Kate is funny, charming and very naughty. Miles the best kind of devoted, hot, alpha male. Throw in a few wonderful friends and a couple of villains, a grand romantic gesture and you’ll enjoy this one day listen.

Poppy and Booker are forever ingrained in my memory because I KNOW WHAT THEY SOUND like! I love their fun, flirty, sexy banter and oh god the British accents. The story of two childhood best friends is so lovable and endearing. Throw in a cast of naughty brothers and their wonderful significant others you have stories that will stick with you forever. This book is part of a series but will stand alone. Listen to the audible, it's amazing.

What made the experience of listening to Oxblood the most enjoyable?
Oxblood is a YA thriller and not my normal romance novel. I REALLY enjoyed it! The story is amazing and Vic a strong independent, hard headed woman and Ian a consummate gentleman leading a team of agents.
I enjoyed their "talks" and the all details of expression, gestures and especially one knowing when to NOT talk and why. This book is beautifully written and has many colorful characters. Though it is a YA book, it never felt that way to me the story is just that good that I didn't miss the sex. The reader is age appropriate and easy to listen too.
I look forward to then next Victoria Asher book in this series.
