First I have to say I thought that I was just going to update a review I'd already done the first time I read this book only to find out I cannot find where I ever reviewed it on here or on Audible....crazy!

Now that I have read the book, seen the movie and then read the book again, the book is definitely my favorite over the movie, but books are usually better than the movie. This book does start of slower than the movie but it also has more context of Lilly and Atlas and when she meets Rile. The book she is reading her journal entries and the movie they are just flashbacks with little to no mention of her writing to Ellen.
I don't remember if there are trigger warnings but if there were it would be because of the domestic violence in the story. I obviously love Lily and Atlas story much better than her and Rile's. There were some pretty obvious signs right off about Riles temper but I get that you always want to see the best in a person regardless if they are the same signs that she grew up with watching her dad be abusive.

I think one of my favorite lines is when Atlas tells her when she is in the position to fall in love again, to fall in love with him *sniff*. I enjoy everything about this story even more the second go around.

If you haven't seen the movie, watch and compare.

I was browsing and came across this one, it isn’t new and I’m pretty sure I’ve skipped over it more than once when browsing 🤦🏾‍♀️ but man…this story has me laughing out loud while I am listening at work. The story, the banter, the humor was definitely something I haven’t had in a while when I’m listening to my books.
The “d*** pic” virus and the way Eloise and Rhett banter is hilarious even when she tries to be serious. Her inner voice uses phrases like “hello my love puppy”, “salty popsicle of pleasure”, “wonder sausage” and “joy stick” and says her “lady clam” and “thrusting his stem into my lady flower” when they are being intimate. I suggest if you are needing some humor in your life and love Pippa Grant give this one a go. Teddy Hamilton and Maxine Mitchell are the absolute best narrators for this story.

The story is good, the intimate scenes are good, lots of spice but Samantha gets even more whiny in this one, granted she is pregnant but it's repetitive and a lot. The cliffhanger ended and began with baby momma drama, pretend baby momma from his ex-wife. Sam comes off as a strong woman but she tries to compare herself too much to Gabe's ex-wife and comes across as weak. This one also has the mysterious phone calls again, so there is some suspense with this one too. Good series that will have me looking to listen to more of Sadie Kincaid's books. I understand the others are great.

I like Gabe much better than Samantha. Although I have listened to several books with Zara Hampton Brown as a narrator and I still have mixed feelings about her narration. I enjoy when she is the strong heroine, but the mixture of strong with the portion she narrates when she has to be doubtful/whining is hard to listen too.

Now the story is pretty good, I wasn't disappointed in the concept of the story. I like that there is a slight age gap and the relationship that they have with each other. The fact that they each have baggage from past relationships but they are generally honest about their feelings regardless of how it comes out. Gabe is also Sam's fathers partner in business and he was once basically her body guard when she was a teenager. There is also some suspense to the story. This ends in a bit of a cliffhanger which will compell you to go on to the next book.

The series continues to be just as good as the first book, Battles lines have been drawn and as Oraya decides it is in her best interest to align with Riahn even though she feels he betrayed her when he killed father, she learns just how much her father kept from her, she also finds out about her mother. There are a lot of political moves that have to be made with the other vampire kingdoms but they all come together to take down The House of Night. They will also finally admit that they love each other and will rule the kingdom together.

This one is a little hard for me to review. I love the tropes Reverse Harem, Sports but it is just so long and I think because it is such a long book I started losing my focus in it. But this is a reverse harem with the 3 hockey players and the doctor for the same team. They have some pretty interesting sex scenes but as I said in the beginning this book is just so long it made it hard for me to keep focus and because of that took me so long to finish.

Well this one got me out of my reading slump. There is nothing better than a good Fantasy/Paranormal book to dive into. I am enjoying all of the tropes in this series so far, my lease favorite is the slow burn but the story is good enough to ignore that part of it.
Oraya and Raihn have an intriguing story line mixed with tournament battles, survival, enemies to lovers, vampires and who will rule kingdoms when all is said and done. The narration is great. Looking forward to finishing the series.

Cute story, with even better narration. Tropes are Sports, Forced Proximity, Fake Marriage, not sure if you would call it a reverse harem because ultimately Eleanor and Crew end up together, but in the beginning as just a girl having fun she was with Crew and his friends. Not all Rom Coms will make you laugh out loud but they will put a smile on your face and give you a few chuckles and that's what this one did for me.

I am a little torn because although the story is enjoyable enough and the narration is pretty good (I like the FMC narration better than the MMC). This one isn't my favorite in the series but you gest of the story. There is a bit of intrigue, suspense to the story. Father Cade has a dark side and is somewhat of a vigilante, he protects Amaya without her knowing. What Amaya doesn't realize right away is just how far Father Cade will go for her.

It was decent enough for me to finish but there was something that I can't really put my hand on other I wasn't a huge fan of the female narrator. This story goes between past and present and how the MC met and when they accidently are basically thrust back into each others lives. I do love the Fake Relationship Trope.
