Story
Patrick, or Gay Uncle Patrick (GUP, for short), has always loved his niece, Maisie, and nephew, Grant. That is, he loves spending time with them when they come out to Palm Springs for weeklong visits, or when he heads home to Connecticut for the holidays. But in terms of caretaking and relating to two children, no matter how adorable, Patrick is, honestly, overwhelmed. So when tragedy strikes and Maisie and Grant lose their mother and Patrick's brother has a health crisis of his own, Patrick finds himself suddenly taking on the role of primary guardian.

When his mother became President, Alex Claremont-Diaz was promptly cast as the American equivalent of a young royal. Handsome, charismatic, genius—his image is pure millennial-marketing gold for the White House. There's only one problem: Alex has a beef with the actual prince, Henry, across the pond. And when the tabloids get hold of a photo involving an Alex-Henry altercation, U.S./British relations take a turn for the worse.

Book was so so. Honestly he just spewed data points and opinions other people have already come up with. Worst part was not the content though, it was his gut wrenching nasally voice. Would have enjoyed the book at least 50% more if someone else had read it.

I had no idea I could love a book this much. I’ve read so many LGBT books, and unrequited love stories but I’ve never had one touch me like this. I found myself tearing up when they did, and I felt an ache in my heart every time they felt one. So eloquent, and sweet that anyone could read this book and relate to it at some level.

Why is every page a chapter? It’s so distracting and unnecessary. I was really disappointed in this piece of the series due to this writing style, the writer and publisher should have made this flow better.
