Hint of Suspense
Reviewed: 01-10-23
I was entertained the whole way through. A little true crime, a little suspense, not overly predictable, but also nothing new. I liked how the story unfolded. It was a perfect mid length pallet cleanser between epic fantasy sagas. Great daily deal buy.

I love the idea behind this story. It's wonderfully realistic and seems like it should be based on a true story. I was given a new prospective to build empathy. I think this should be required reading for highschoolers.

What a great American tale
Reviewed: 10-27-21
I loved the historical figures come to life in the retelling of American history. The perspective is so creative without being anything new. Wonderfully crafted fantasy that makes me almost think it was real. I loved the use of "witchcraft," the song of the land and it's relationship to early American people, red and white alike.

This delivered everything I wanted from a LitRPG. I'm really enjoying this genre. Book 2 didn't slack off at all. Great story progression and added depth to characters. Headed to the 3rd book now.

I have thoroughly enjoyed this LitRPG genre. I fell in love with The Land and this new series is equally captivating. Im not a gamer myself and have little enxperience in any RPG games. Regardless, the concept is entertaining, challenging, full of twists and an all around wonderful adventure. Im hooked and I can't wait for more.

One day, not long from now, it becomes almost impossible to murder anyone - 999 times out of a thousand, anyone who is intentionally killed comes back. How? We don't know.
