When they met at an airport, it was love at first sight. But in time, everything collapsed. As an unnamed but unforgettable woman muses on her life—from meet cute to marriage and parenthood—her recollections inexorably build to a devastating truth. In this shattering performance, Carey Mulligan, star of the critically lauded drama An Education, captivates audiences with playwright Dennis Kelly’s harrowing ruminations on family, ambition, gender, and violence.

The performance was outstanding. I chose the play for the Mulligan, at first. And the story kept rolling easily, by itself

Considering that nearly ninety years have passed since No. 5’s creation, this statistic alone makes a compelling case for the perfume’s stature as the world’s most famous. However, its cultural impact might be even more staggering than its business success....

Captivating and personal.

everybody around you, or while you stuck in a traffic looks at you when you suddenly start laughing and you look at them only to continue laughing with a gesture "can you believe it?"
or, i dont know, for sure, maybe, it is the narrator's tone makes it more appealing.
maybe both... maybe neither...
p.s. Lori, question, is it John's idea to make tv show? i wonder

Story
Make sure the kids aren’t around! Just because you’re a grown-up doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy the art of the children’s bedtime story. Nick Offerman presents this collection of 12 short stories written in the style of a classic kids' tale, but with a decidedly dark and adult approach. What really happened after Snow White died, from the perspective of the one medically trained dwarf? A naive wizard professor reports back from the trenches of an underprivileged school of magic. And much more!
