This wasn’t written by the Penny Reid I know and beloved. There was no character development or very much wit and romance. No chemistry between the main characters. I skipped chapter just to finish it because I purchased it. Not sure I’ll read more by her. I truly loved her style. is she’s writing these or someone else?

No character development. The best part was the last chapter and the epilogue. I would’ve liked to take the second half of the story from there. Adjusting to fatherhood and motherhood. They just breezed over her accomplishment and that was just sad.

This story was about 2 doctors working at the same hospital getting involved. There was no intrigue, no character development and no story. It took me 2 weeks to finish. I kept thinking it would get better, it did not. No plot, no character was likable or engaging. If you like blah, this is the story for you
