Story was good but Male narration not

The story line was great. I was excited what would come next. However, the male narrator was terrible. His regular voice was good. When he attempted to talk as the guy or girl, it was horrible. I couldn’t finish the story due to him. I’ll definitely be checking out the authors other works if the male narrator is different. The storyline was funny with a nice dose of spice.

I could not get more than 10 minutes into this story. I really did not like the narration. His voice really irritated me. I loved the first two in the series and will definitely buy this one on my kindle.

You're not supposed to want the one who torments you. When my stepbrother, Elec, came to live with us my senior year, I wasn't prepared for how much of a jerk he'd be. I hated that he took it out on me because he didn't want to be here. I hated that he brought girls from our high school back to his room. But what I hated the most was the unwanted way my body reacted to him.

This book was great! You really feel like you know the characters and are absorbed in their story. The narration was horrible. She didn’t have emotions and the intimate parts sound like a dull conversation. Terrible! No emotion at all. It took me out of the story so many times.

This book was amazing! For those questioning the step sibling bond, it’s not step siblings that grow up together. Their parents met and married after they were adults. They had never met before dire circumstances made her seek him out for safety and protection. I was instantly drawn in from the start and stayed enthralled the entire book. I found myself smiling and laughing throughout the book. Even crying at parts. My coworkers have been giving me strange looks since I’m listening through headphones. Rarely does a book capture me like this one. I can’t wait to see what other books this author has to offer. If they’re anything like this one, I’ll have a new favorite author!!

Hard to Stay in the Story

It’s hard to get into this story. Parts held my interest but they were few and far in between. I had to listen to the beginning chapters twice to figure out what was daydreams and what was really happening. I quit with 2.5 hours left. I really wanted to like it but it couldn’t stay on the storyline long enough to hold my interest.
