I loved Andres and Sam, Adrian and Valentina, but Matteo and Sophia have been my absolute favorite so far. Sophia was amazing and easily relatable. Matteo was possessive, obsessive, and gave no f*s. This was one of those books that kept me distracted till I could get back to it and while I wanted to find out what happened I didn’t want it to end. The narrators were spot on and made this story stand out. Can’t wait to see what’s next with the Captive series.

Overall storyline was good. It was hard really getting into book with how Shannon Gun voice was older than the character was described in the earlier in Stealing Beauty as being early 20’s. He sounds like Count Dracula with a bad smoking habit. Bared through, but really wish that another was chosen for this role.

I LOVED THIS! i can’t say enough positive things about this audiobook. It is romantic, heavy, hot, emotional, suspenseful. The story draws you in right away. I was sorry to see it end. I Was so amazed by Shannon Gunn. He did such a good job that I could not even tell It was him speaking. The voice was nothing like his normal voice. I did not fully realize what a talented actor he is.

I’ve been seeing the cover at of this book everywhere and was so excited to finally figure out which book it really belongs to! I’ll admit, it was a bit rough going from Christian Fox’s narration in the previous book to Shannon here. Shannon’s accents were a bit over the top at points, but I felt it got better as the book went on. His passion during 🔥🔥 scenes was incredible!
As for the story itself, it was exactly what I’m here for. Definitely some trigger warning worthy topics. I loved the character development and the depth of their back stories. Helps me feel more connected and invested in the characters and overall story. AND!! Valentina is reunited with her brother!!! Wish there had been more detail of this reunion, but so happy they finally found each other again. Great series!

I’ve read several reviews stating that they didn’t care for the narration. I totally loved the narrators. Especially, Mateo. He was funny and complicated. Very good story! Worth more stars if there were more. Don’t hesitate on this one.

The male voice and character was perfect. He draws you into his world. I doubt this story would have captured my intrigue as much without his voice, so so masculine and sexy. Get this book, listen and enjoy, you will not be sorry.

Okay, so I'm really shocked this book has such a high rating. The fact I wasn't crazy about this one might be because, I listen to most of my books, and this has the worst narration. Its almost so bad I couldn't listen, the male narrator enunciated darn near every word and although I appreciated his passion it significantly slowed down the story and you couldn't appreciate the parts that warranted that type of adrenaline.

The book doesn't have a bunch of action per se, but it does have angst, plot, great characters, and a decent storyline that makes sense. It really must be the narration that ruined it for me because when I really think about it there's nothing else that turns me off about the book. It had some steam/sexy scenes not a bunch, I like a little more but it wasn't horrible😆😘😁 Very light BDSM, spanking, a club.

I like the hero/heroine neither were perfect and they both owned their crap. Without saying too much I can say they had a miscommunication, but it didn't go on forever ......It really wasn't a horrible book just don't download the Audible version.
