Story
The Martian meets Gravity when Army Pilot Vaughn Singleton, Earth’s last man, rushes to Area 51 in search of a spaceplane after he discovers the last woman is stranded on the International Space Station and barely alive - thus beginning a race against time. The event that wiped life from the planet started at the supercollider. It created a rift in space-time. The astronaut stranded aboard the space station, Commander Angela Brown, is a theoretical physicist who used to work at the collider.

Finally!

I've been waiting since 2014 for this series. The original narration was, lets say endurable. Soldiered through because I found the Story intriguing. Bought the books and read them. The new narration is outstanding.

Story
I thought the hard part of helping the Helta defeat the rampaging Tevynians would be the fighting. How wrong I was. To the Helta, we Earthers look just like the Tevynians, their mortal enemies. And convincing their government to ally with humans may be even beyond the crew of the starship James Bowie. But the clock is ticking, because the Tevynian fleet is bearing down on the Helta homeworld. If we can’t talk the Helta into accepting our help to fight them off, then Helta Prime will fall.... And Earth will be next.

Outstanding narration, entertaining story

Not much to say, the story is entertaining with quite a bit of humor mixed in. Its an entertaining story of first contact leading into and interstellar war. The Narrator is outstanding. I can't praise the narration enough. There are so many great stories attenuated by bland narration, do not fear, this is not one of those. If you love (somewhat) silly Sci-fi , this is a must for you.

Story
This is the story of Leif Grettison, a crew member of humanity’s first flight to the stars, even though he had not expected to take that trip. The year is 2069. The Troubles, a decade plus of proxy, and direct warfare among the US, Russia, and China, had brought the world to the brink of apocalypse. It was close enough to finally scare the leaders of the powers into signing the Geneva Treaties, a set of agreements pledging peace, cooperation, and the dismantling of the military complexes.

Honestly, the Introduction almost made me stop listening, which would have been a shame. Entertaining hard-ish Sci-Fi Adventure story.

Great Narration to a excellent character driven story in a fascinating Universe. If you haven't already, look at the frist book in the (previous) series (Quarter Share). My only criticism would be that it's over to quickly.

Just as Midshipman Alexis Carew thinks she's found a place in the Royal Navy, she's transferred aboard H.M.S. Hermione. Her captain is a Tartar, liberal with the cat, who thinks girls have no place aboard ship. The other midshipmen in the berth are no better and the only advice she's offered is to keep her head down and mouth shut - things Alexis is rarely able to do.

Enemy activity had fallen into an eerie calm, but everyone felt the coming storm - a terrible storm, poised to unleash its fury upon the galaxy. It seemed as though the entire universe was holding its breath. Waiting. Whether waiting for the salvation of mankind or its demise was yet unclear.

Meet John Criton... err Nick Brannon who is stranded in a far away star system by a Wormhole... err, Hyperspace experiment.
In all seriousnes, the main story premise is pretty much the same as Farscape. It is still a very entertaining and enjoyable story with interesting characters and I will be waiting for the second book.
The Narration I found done extremely well. Kudos to Meral Mathews! I hope to listen to you in other Sci-Fi stories!
I'm looking foward to this Series having a more satisfying conclusion than the TV show, which was unjustly assassinated by Sci-Fi Channel.

The narrator does a good job in my opinion although the audio quality could be better. The problem is mainly that the unabriged version of this book is around 22 hours long. It's not an easy to follow plot and 2/3 of the story missing does not help.
