Maybe I’m bias at this point because if JA or KC writes it it’s on preorder!!! But the worlds capture you, the characters are so vivid they’re your new besties and the stories always keep you up “just one more chapter (or 10)” because you just need to know WTF is really going on from Tragic to Jesse to Sick heart and vampires to crazy tails of some pretty amazing aliens or Greek gods and hybrid creatures (monsters- human mixed with animals) it doesn’t matter because Julie paints a picture so clear in your head it’s all believable and so get me started on the sleep lost over Si-ops and YEP I caught that SLIGHT Insinuation gods I need book 3 can we please just skip through time! Of course I’m that person that gobbles them up when they release but I’m also that person that goes back and RE- listens to them ALL in order back to back once a series is complete! I’m in love with both the male and female characters in this series (as usual) but I’m a Rosie person, I thought for a long time I was a Rook a survivor but I’m a Rosie a young single mom who wakes up everyday and puts on a costume (work, mom life, dating) they’re not just practical clothing choices but costumes to fit the different facets of my life and help me remember which character I’m playing at a certain point in any given day! Gods this is another reason JA IS MY HERO! The amount of self reflection I go through at ever EOBS is insane but JA IS THE BEST THERAPIST IVE EVER HAD AND she doesn’t even know I exist! Her work is just that amazing and impactful!

The story it’s self was great! Loved all the leads and twists and surprises but the POVs especially being all
Narrated by the same voice made it difficult to keep up with at times, I almost returned it actually I had to listen to the first three or four chapters three times but then finally got caught up in the story enough to really focus on pov, timeline etc. I ended up really enjoying the story

It took me what seems like forever (to me) I read this book! First, when it was released I was in the middle of another series that still had 3-4 more books to go! Then, I “had to” go back and relisten to the first two because A it’s been awhile and B any excuse to go back and listen to a series this amazing, is a good enough reason in my world! Finally! I started this book somewhere about 4:30am today and OMG… if one more person called, text, emailed or spoke to be before I got to the end someone was going to die!!! Kidding but seriously WHAT AN AMAZING CONCLUSION TO A FANTASTICAL GROUP OF PEOPLE IN AN AWESTRIKING WORLD CREATED BY TWO VERY TALENTED PEOPLE. ~*~ This is book three I highly suggest reading books 1&2 first~*~ I know with some authors you can save yourself two credits and just read the final book and you really don’t miss out of anything but a few minor points and about 20 hours of listening time because most of the final book is copy and paste from the previous however many that isn’t even a thing in JA Huss World!

Julie YOU ARE A GENIUS! Another new world to explore and experience, the writing and narration make you feel like you could be standing on the sidelines or a ghost right there experiencing all of these moments with the characters. And as always the sexy times are 🔥🔥🔥 I am to this day grateful that Bossy Jesse was included back in Aug 2020 (I think) it was my first JA Huss book and introduced me to all of the JA Huss /KC Cross WORLDS! I know this isn’t a part of the company/ bossy world but I feel like it could be or even (if the timing lines up) an intro to those worlds. Yes there are some awful “things/ topics” and terrible people “CHARACTERS” in this STORY! However, if you turn on your nightly news station you’re going to see a lot of the same with an added weather and traffic update to waste even more of my time so for everyone who is offended by this or other STORIES just leave OUR books and worlds alone and go watch the news it’s way more disturbing because it’s FREAKING REAL! Just a little personal tid bit I HATE THE NEWS and I don’t watch it anymore it hurts my soul and I can’t sleep at night so I PREFER my JA HUSS/ KC CROSS worlds! Now where should I start over rook and ronin 💕 Or where my obsession became a thing Bossy Brothers~ Jesse 😊🥰
